"Right now, they are doing some renovations, so things are probably not quite up to par. The breakfast was not bad. Part of the resort fee was applied and we also received two cocktail vouchers instead of a bottle of wine, which we used for appropriately sized breakfast bloody mary and an mimosa. We split the Heathman breakfast which was plenty for us to enjoy, since we are not big breakfast eaters. They asked how we liked our eggs (over easy), but they came out omlette style, so slight communication issue, but not a big deal. We enjoyed it anyhow. Staff in kitchen and at front were appropriately pleasant and kind, but seemed a bit "stillted", which is probably more appropriate to the stressors of the world and economy atm. We don't not blame them for being not genuinely enthusiastic about working, especially in the service industry. We would stay there again, amenities are nice, our low rate room, was no view, a little loud with the air system, but overall a pleasant, stylish room, comfortable bed and bath."
