"Loved staying at this Shepherd's Hut! We wouldn't normally book a 'hut' but were captivated by the photos and liked the extra space with a separate sleeping section. Stayed 5 nights. "The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"The room and bathroom were very clean. There was a great range of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottle water. The bathroom was stocked with plenty soap, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was first class. There was a fabulous choice of fresh berries, fruit, cereals, breads, jams, flapjacks, yogurts, fresh fruit juices, bottomless tea and coffee. Unfortunately, I checked out very early so missed the cooked breakfast. The bus stops outside and there is a car park next to the hotel. The hotel and breakfast offer exceptional value for money and the staff provide a great service."

"Parking is limited and not ideal. Hotel was very clean and rooms a good size. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with long waits for some items on some mornings. Staff were generally helpful but could not explain my check-out bill which contained items with confusing descriptions. i e drinks appearing as "lunch", etc. Hotel was in a good location, near beach and town center. Food was good and well presented."

"The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."
