"We are a "mature" married couple walking the coastal path, and this is our third visit to Anglesey. We both thought that Glan yr Afon was the best house we've stayed in. It's comfortable, very well designed and in a wonderful position overlooking the coast and countryside. The outside balcony really comes into its own on a sunny evening. We had a meal in the Lobster Pot one evening and enjoyed it immensely, and we also bought some dressed crab from the office around the corner. It was excellent quality and really fresh. Yes, a great week in a lovely house!"

"My friends and I have just had a wonderful short break at Salem Fach. Could not fault it if I tried ..Anna and Matthew are amazing hosts ,the cottage is well equipped,clean and the hot tub is just like a cherry on top. Will definitely return in near future 😁"

"Great week, beautiful house with stunning views, fantastic walks from the doorstep. 3rd time visiting this lovely house. Never disappoints. Weather was rubbish but that did not dampen the holiday. A visit to the Oyster catcher at Rhosneigr and the Liverpool arms at Beaumaris are a must for food. Only issue was that the WiFi was really poor all week. Never been this bad before. Maybe it was the weather…. Will visit again defiantly."

"Lovely stay. Property was lovely and clean and matched the listing. The view from the window never gets tiring and the sunsets were amazing. We only scored 4 stars as probably could do with a new mattress for the bed and we couldn’t find a corkscrew (imagine the horror). "

"FIRSTLY WE FOUND THE BED LINEN AND BATHROOMS CLEAN ... HOWEVER THE KITCHEN WAS NOT ... THE CUPBOARDS WERE VERY GRUBBY .. I DIDN'T PUT ANY OF MY FOOD ITEMS AWAY ... I WAS NOT PREPARED TO CLEAN THEM BEFORE I USED THEM ! THE CUTLERY DRAWER HAD HAIRS IN IT .. THE PLASTIC DRAINER WAS VERY DIRTY .. I PUT IT OUT OF USE AS IT WAS VERY UNHYGIENIC AS WERE THE NUMEROUS MUGS THAT WERE CHIPPED AND CLEARLY HAD BEEN FOR A LONG TIME AS THE CHIPS WERE BROWN / BLACK WITH GRIME ... I SERIUOSLY DO NOY UNDERTAND WHY THEY WERE EVEN IN THE CUPBOARDS !! OTHER BOWLS PLATES ALSO CHIPPED ?? THE CHOPPING BOARDS WERE A DISGRACE ... THE ONE I DID FIND TO USE I HAD TO STERILSE WITH BOILING WATER .. WE DIDN'T USE ANY ITEM FROM THE CUPBOARDS WITHOUT WASHING IT FIRST, THAT SHOULDN'T BE NECESSARY .. THE FLOOR WAS VERY DIRTY .. WHY ? THE WIDOWS WERE FILTHY .. AGAIN WHY ? WE HAD TO TOP THE BOILER UP SO IT WORKED .. AS WE HAVE OIL HEATING AT HOME WE KNEW WHAT TO DO THE SO CALLED LOGS FOR THE LOG BURNER WERE ACTUALLY PIECES OF ROTTING TIMBERS ? THE CARPETS WEREN'T REALLY VACUUMED WELL ... NOT SURPRISING WITH A HENRY THOUGH .. THE ANSWER WOULD I RECOMMEND WOULD BE GET IT PROPERLY CLEANED THEN YES AS I FOUND IT NO .. CLEANLINESS SHOULD BE PARAMOUNT ... ALSO THE POTS OUTSIDE THE FRONT ENTRACE ARE AS SCRUFFY AS ... IF YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO HAVE THEM MAINTAINED DON'T HAVE THEM AT ALL ? ! YOU DID ASK !!"

"Lovely van to stay in, brilliant location, the beach is 5-6 minutes walk down the hill along with the cafe and lobster pot and up the hill is the church bay pub, maybe 5 minute walk The van has a good sized modern open kitchen/diner with plenty of cooking utensils and the lounge is also a good size.Only 3 of us stayed but there's plenty of room, it has a very large garden area with patio furniture and a large area for parking."
