The relaxing song of birds, the bleating of sheep with their rattles, the landscape and sunset in Alentejo with magnificent colors, the night sky full of stars...
Supermarkets are nearby (500mtr), many customers take the opportunity to walk at the beginning or end of the day and do their shopping on foot.
We recommend visiting O Plátano do Rossio, planted in 1838! considered the oldest tree in Portugal, it is imposing and deserves to be seen by those interested in the natural heritage of our region; our Tapestry Museum and Tapestry Manufacture, our beautiful Cathedral and right next door the Municipal Museum of Portalegre.
Visit Marvão, the highest village in Alentejo (865 m above sea level), in the heart of the São Mamede Natural Park. At the top of Serra do Sapoio, it reveals a magnificent and historic setting of granite rocks and walls that encircle the town. Go down the mountain and then stop at Portagem, cool off in the pool or on the river beach of the River Sever. Visit Marvão, the highest village in Alentejo (865 m above sea level), in the heart of the São Mamede Natural Park.
