"Easy to find and the location was perfect for us. The place was very clean and welcoming. The owner was amazing and we had a great 2 nights. We stayed for 2 nights then headed to Canoe the Wilds tour for 5 nights and this was only 20minutes away from the meeting location for that adventure. "

"Very clean and decorated perfectly as a lake house. The kitchen was very well equipped, even having spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable and made with high quality bedding. The property has Internet, cable TV in every bedroom and the living room. The backyard has a large grassy private lawn and covered porch with plenty of seating, a propane grill and fire pit and private access to the lake. Portage lake is dreamy -- perfect for paddling. We hope to return next year for a longer stay. A week isn't long enough."

It feels as if you are deep in the woods, but in reality you are just minutes from everything, perfect compromise. It was the perfect size for our family of 3.
