"Great stay, love this little retreat! There are groups of kids but we had no issues and had no one walk past the solitude cabin. Has electricity and a outhouse. This is a wooded area so expect bugs and everything else that goes with nature. Check in was literally you just grab a cart and walk to your cabin, there is no formal check in. Also solitude does not have phone reception, so prepare for that as well if you are someone who needs it. when you"

"Clean, lovely cabin on the water close to restaurants and groceries. Communication is weird because of the corporate level involvement. Clearly a press to communicate clearly, but it came from several different contact points which was confusing. But I appreciate the kind interactions and information. Was a great stay, and we enjoyed our time. A handle on the sliding glass door would be appreciated as it’s the main traffic point once moved in. "

"What a beautiful and peaceful stay we had in Hodag House! My family needed a get away and our stay was perfect. The cabin was super clean, had everything that we needed and had very comfortable beds so we slept great. The area is gorgeous and we got in plenty of hiking and kayaking. "This was a trip for myself, my sisters and our spouses. There was eight of us total and we had a great weekend stay. The main house is wonderful and has all of the amenities that you would need. Six of us stayed in main cabin and two in guest house but most of our time together was spent in the main cabin which had plenty of room for the eight of us. Is a great location for visiting the North Shore. We visited many of them during our stay (Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, etc,)."
