Our top rated stay at Port St Joe

Very clean property, very new, all appliances and furnishings were outstanding, elevator was a little cantankerous but it worked most of the time. Great layout of rooms and very close to beach. We had a great week-three families.

Booking Again for 2026!!

This will be our 4th year to stay at Stealin' Sunshine (Our 6th year on Cape San Blas). Hands down Stealin' Sunshine is in the best location. Short walk to the beach on a private cul de sac. The other families that share this location will become your friends because it is really just you and them. As for the house.......... it has everything you need and it is clean! The owners are amazing and always respond promptly to any requests. You will not be disappointed in this house. Oh! and the pool is bigger than most.

Great time on Cape San Blas

We had a great stay at Stealin Sunshine on the northern end of Cape San Blas. Property was a short walk to the beach and had everything you need in a rental property for 4 couples. The beach was not crowded at all and the outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after a day in the sand and surf. The pool was great for a small group and plenty of space to chill while taking a break from the beach

Adult Spring Break

The location of the house is absolutely perfect. Such an easy walk to the beach. Every spot of the house was super clean and comfortable. The check in process was super simple. There was a super cute restaurant directly across the street that we walked to. Hunt’s restaurant is also a great restaurant to go too. The weather was perfect for us. The host was extremely easy to get ahold of before we got there if we needed. We will for sure keep this house in our favorites for future trips. We had the best time and thank you for hosting us.

Nice quiet beach, house looks brand new. Kitchen has everything you want or need, the beverage refrigerator was a plus. Beds are comfortable, shower pressure is great. Screened in porch was used a lot. Loved having our own pool. Enjoyed making a fire and s'mores on beach. People are friendly, local bars/restaurants are small but good. We went horseback riding on the beach and rented a boat for a day. The house has lots of beach stuff, maybe bring a wagon.

Great house on the Cape

This house is very nice. The water pressure is the best we’ve ever had in 20 years! The deck off the top floor has a great view and was a nice place to nap and eat. The house does come with beach towels and extra chairs if needed. Pool was great when the young kids needed a break from the ocean. Elevator worked great Kitchen had everything we needed. The walk to the beach wasn’t too bad. The house was very comfortable for our large group. Also Daniel was very helpful with any questions we had and always responded quickly.

The house was clean with beautiful views. Had all the amenities. Lay out was perfect for our large group. Everyone had their own space and the family room kitchen area was great. First house we ever rented that we were not on top of each other in the kitchen. Plus the kitchen was fully stocked with enough utensils, appliances and accessories to cook/make whatever we wanted. Pool was great! The elevator was a nice have for our older parents. Location was great. Beach had easy access, house had great view of both the sunrise and sunsets. Easy access to great places on Cape San Blas for eating or a short beautiful drive to the amazing town of Port St. Joe. The owners Dan and Lora were great. Awesome communication, easy to book with, extremely nice people! We got everything we paid for and more. Will definitely return again!!!

A Little Piece of Paradise

My family has been coming to the Cape for years, and we have stayed in many different properties. Stealin' Sunshine definitely ranks at the top of the list for best vacation home. It is located at the north end of the Cape close the State Park. The beach is beautiful and the water clear. With just a short walk down the driveway to the beach, it was easy to go back and forth to the house and carry our beach gear. And when we were tired of the sand, we could come back and relax by the pool. The house had everything that we needed for a week long stay. The kitchen was well-stocked and had all the amenities of home. I had great communication with the owners from the time I made the reservation until the end of the trip. They are quick to respond and answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this property and would absolutely rent it again.

We've already booked this home (not house) for next year!

This is not just a "house". It really is a place that you will feel like it is your home. We played games that the owners had available. Catan was our favorite. We have 5 children. 3 of them and their spouses stayed in this home with us. We had plenty of room and privacy. You can see the ocean from every window on the top floor. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need... Instant Pot, Keurig, Coffee Maker, Vitamix blender(or something similar), plenty of silverware, plates, pots, pans, etc... Also, The washer and dryer are commercial grade. Other pluses for us was the charcoal grill, pool, walk to the beach, and the privacy of this beach. We literally had maybe two families to the left and right of us. This particular location has shallow water and then you shortly reach an ankle/midcalf sandbar. Clear water (not like 30A) but clear enough that you can see your feet and the silly fish that like to nibble on them. I have absolutely no negative comments for Stealin' Sunshine. The only comment I have is regarding the stairs to the beach. Be prepared to bring your cooler, small kids, elderly parents down about 10 steps. OH!! And don't rent a golf cart to drive on the beach! We did. But there is no access to the beach without getting on the road where you will get a ticket. And did I mention that Dan is AMAZING to work with!

Great Beach House

Our family of 8 adults and 3 children had a great time at Stealin’ Sunshine. Loved the location. The house was clean and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. It was an easy 2 minute walk to the beach. We also enjoyed the pool when everyone was done at the beach. We will definitely be back if I can get the whole family together next year.

Spent a week here over the 4th and was very happy with the location and having the private pool. Plenty of room for family of 6 with beds and baths. Also loved eating outside on the screen in porch daily. Great communication throughout the stay and prior too. We lost water one morning, but sounds like that is somewhat "normal" in the cape. However, fast communication by owner and was only out for like 1 hour so no impact. Loved that the house was also dog friendly and wouldn't be able to tell by how clean the house was when we arrived that they allowed dogs.

Cape San Blas

The house is beautiful and clean! It was so nice to have a pool to ourselves. Great for small children! The beach was very private and beautiful. The beach is close to the house, however there is a pretty large hill from the walkway down to the beach. We were a group of adults 55-35 and children 7-3, for us this wasn’t an issue but I could see it being a problem for older people.

Very relaxing!!!!!!

Beaches were beautiful, weather was great, beach house accommodations were great. The kitchen well stocked. Our favorite spot were the 2 porches with the comfortable furnishings and the view of the ocean. Highly recommend Stealin' Sunshine. The owners are very nice and made it easy from the beginning of reserving the house to the end...and of course the the kids enjoyed the private pool. We will be back!!!
