"The house was lovely and clean. The only complaint that I have and it may have been an oversight on my part is we didn't know that you couldn't park a boat or jet skis at the location prior to getting there. There were signs on the property, but I don't remember reading anything on VRBO about that. ..but other than that I highly recommend this home. It is a great location to multiple beaches and a short distance to nice dining."

"This property had everything we needed and was so welcoming/ The beds were very comfortable, it was clean and cool inside. We had plenty of space for our family and the back yard for the dogs was great too. We also brought our boat for scalloping and had a place to park it and all of our vehicles. it's definitely on the list to rent again!"

"What a great stay! Love that the pool was just steps away from the front door. You never know what weather is going to be like on the gulf coast. Because of the tropical storms brewing we spent more time at the pool in the complex. It was a lot of fun. The kitchen had all the basic needs, the Keurig coffee maker was dual meaning it had a full pot and individual servings. A Grayco playpen and booster seat that was provided came in handy with our visiting granddaughter (toddler). Plenty of linens...

"We had a wonderful stay In hanger 13. This was our first time coming to Mexico Beach it’s a little quiet gem. Although there’s a lot of construction going on throughout the area with rebuilding from the hurricane it doesn’t stop you from enjoying the Sun,Beach ,water, shops , fishing, ect. Danielle was very kind and quick to answer any questions we had. Her cottage is beautifully decorated and very cozy. The pool next to us was awesome ! The kids really enjoyed it. "Barefoot Cottages is great as always if you’re looking for a quick and easy trip. This property was great for our family. Very clean and nice. Only issue was with the code on the front door not working, but they were quick to work on it and help us out. "This overall was a great house and we really were happy with our stay. Just a few things we wish we had known: The pictures are a little deceiving. It looks like a boardwalk takes you directly to the beach, but it doesn’t. The boardwalk ends and you still have to walk through a decent length of very soft sand and over a steep dune. -You never speak to a real local manager. Only customer service reps from Vacasa.
