"The Reef House is in a quiet part of the island. We went for relaxation and diving. The first night we snorkeled at night in the ocean pool and saw octapus, shrimp, flounder, small eels, and huge urchins. My older son wanted to fish, so they arranged a day of fishing and visiting a shallow area where nurse sharks and rays hang out, so we got to snorkel with them. We caught a bunch of tuna and they cooked it up for us for dinner. We went during the end of August, which is the slow time. ...

"The room had great air conditioning but our safe didn’t work so we ended up getting the master key, our toilet wouldn’t flush for the first part so we had to get maintenance as the door to the bathroom knob kept coming off."

"I think we knew it was 2 double beds, but it was way too small for 2 adults. The beds were rock hard. A queen with a mattress topper would be great. We needed a light blanket for nighttime, only had a sheet. Kitchen was lacking in what we would consider automatic. We cooked 2 dinners in. No frying pan, had to ask for coffee filters, no plug for the sink, no hot water in the kitchen, no strainer, no cheese grater, no corkscrew, no ice trays and most importantly did not include bottled water....

"2nd time staying here - perfect - few times a day I go out to the reef with the kayak which I tow behind me. There are always several dive boats right out front showing that this is the place to be. I love the privacy and quiet yet still with close access to West End and West Bay. The cooling pool is a plus - I wouldn’t stay anywhere else"
