Staff were very accommodating and professional. Hotel is close to Albert Park Lake and the Shrine with easy access to Melbourne's CBD. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Melbourne.

I booked the room for my mother . We live in a rural area and don’t go to the city often however Mum has to as my sister was in hospital. The hotel looked after Mum and went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable and able to find her way to the shops etc, I highly recommend this hotel as it is clean and comfortable and the staff are very caring and have great customer service.

Was a disappointing experience to say the least. Check in was at 3pm 3.30pm rooms were not ready to check in. Rooms were dated and buzzing noses in room when fan/aircon was on. So couldn’t sleep. Very unpleasant. Three days later still waiting for $200 bond to come to me. Still waiting on call back

The facilities are very old. The story height is very low. Room is small. Bathroom is small.
The bed is near the front door. It is noise. You can hear people are talking outside.

Everthing good...except i was staying because of surgery and i was fasting...so i didnt need a full breakfast...just a piece of toast n juice...was still expected to pay full price...we stayed 2 night ..thats the only let down that i had to pay full price...cheers

Great service, room service was prompt and delicious, affordably priced, and close to the city centre. Only downsides were that you could hear some hallway noise from the room, and that it was a bit of a maze with stairs to get to/from your vehicle in its parking lot in the back.

I liked how meals were available at 10.00pm. We enjoyed our meal and drinks at a reasonable price. There was also a lovely breakfast at the cafe. The staff were lovely and we were upgraded to a lake view king room. Carrying luggage from the car park to our room was difficult. But car parking was inexpensive and we were able to leave our car for a few hours after checkout. Our room was large enough, clean but basic. Didn't like the small bathroom and shower with curtain over bath. Overall, the hotel is slightly dated.

100$ extra deducted from card after checkout.
Don't why they need a deposit...I had visited bayview hotel on Saturday 15th February, and did the checkout on 16th Sunday.
At the time of check-in I deposited 100$ from my debit card and at the time of check-out 78$ has been adjusted from my account from the 100$ deposit amount against the bills I have.
Now on 18th February Tuesday, another 100$ has been deducted from my account.
Why it is debited? Please refund back my 100$ back into my account.
If you have such technical issues in your system, please avoid blocking people cards.

Thank you for your valued feedback. In regards to your $100 bond, That gets automatically released back into your card within 5 to 7 business days. If you can still see a pending amount of $100 in your transaction list, let us know or the manager on duty and we would be more than happy to assist you by sending a fax message to your bank to release the funds as soon as possible. However, if you can’t see it anymore, that means it has been released back into your account.
The $100 bond is the general policy of the hotel for all of our guests. It is to secure payment for any extras or incidentals incurred in the account of every guest.
We stayed nine nights in this hotel during Australian Open. It was the staff that make this hotel very special. We all find them very friendly and helpful especially Jericho. Will definitely stay here again next year! Thank you and keep up the good work! ❤️

Lovely location overlooking the park, easy to get to, clean and comfortable rooms. Parking available, but need to drag suitcases up and down stairs and through corridors to get into hotel lobby. No lift available in car park.
