HOOTING HAUS - HOT TUB - FIRE PIT - CABIN RETREAT

Nestled at the edge of a forest and named after our resident owl, Hooting Haus is a European styled cabin retreat close to all Penn State offers.
The gourmet kitchen's rustic charm features a zinc island, butcher block counter and stunning natural stone wall. Entertain guests at the artisan crafted pine table while dining next to the antique cast iron fireplace. Cap the evening sharing stories under the cool night sky gathered 'round the fire pit with a soothing hot toddy or mug of creamy cocoa.

NOTE-
We have beautiful woods at the back of the property, but if you're looking for a secluded getaway, this cabin may not be a good fit. We're close to the highway, which is very convenient to Beaver Stadium, campus and town - only 10 minutes and less than 8 miles away.
*2nd bedroom is located in the upstairs loft & library. Cozy, but not fully private.

This house was even better than the description. The host had the house perfectly ready for our late evening arrival. All the special touches (fireplace glowing, music playing, snacks ready). It was so adorable & quaint & comfy & perfect for our PSU weekend. I will definitely book again.

We had an amazing time at Hooting Haus! The interior decorating and house layout was fantastic! Every detail was thought of! And can we say the snacks were the icing on top! Lastly, the house is so convenient to Penn State and easy to find!

PSU Weekend

The cabin served as our homebase for weekend need at PSU. It was a quick (15 minute) drive from the campus. The description and details were accurate and the space utilization was excellent. Would definelty stay at again in the future for similar needs!
