"If your looking for a comfortable bed and fairly clean but updated room this is the place for you. Otherwise, floors were dirty (sandy) and housekeeping left a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. (Gross) Pool didn't even have water in it so was not open even though website and Expedia says it is. I would be hard pressed to stay here again."

"A nice place with friendly staff at the front desk. The main issue was with the AC unit, which was installed near the ceiling. I had to literally stand on a chair to turn it on and then adjust it. It was very noisy, so I needed headphones to sleep. Finding hairs that don't belong to me in the shower always draws a "yuck" from me. Otherwise, the place was fine."

"Peaceful, awesome lake view, just amazing. Clean, no issues, deck should have been swept before we got there, had a few ugly spiders in the bathtub, but you’re up north so it’s not a surprise. But we came for the view and we were not disappointed "

"This was a great little get away for me and my little family and pup. Great location and short brisk walk to the water. I feel like the locals werent hapoy with us being there bc the moment i got out of my truck with kiddos and dog the woman that lives in that community fulltime made sure to tell us that she doesnt like dogs around and was very stand offish. Feel like that could of been avoided if she let us get in and settled in and seen that my sweet pup was not a threat at all. Blew it off and said we are respectful of everyone around us and we didnt have any other interactions. It was wonderful other then that. Thank you for a breathe of fresh air:)"

"We had the most wonderful stay in Port Austin for our winter illustrator retreat. There were 10 of us, and the house was the perfect size — comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for everyone to spread out and create.The surroundings were beautiful, with a peaceful view of the lake that felt especially magical in the winter. I can only imagine how amazing it must be in the summer!Our host was excellent and incredibly helpful when we had a small issue — everything was handled quickly and kindly.10/10 — we would absolutely stay here again."
