The plumbing was not good and the rooms had no comfortable chairs to sit on, I was in a queen room and all I could use the room for was to sleep and bathe, an armchair and coffee table would have been better

Great stay in Port Hedland
Excellent stay from start to finish, quick friendly check in, advised to book a table if we had plans to eat in the restaurant that night, so glad we did and it was easy to see why, although the menu isn’t vast it offers a varied selection of excellent food. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast which was included in the room price was a nice surprise and offered everything from fresh fruits to a full cooked breakfast

The Esplanade was conveniently located for our work in the centre of Port Hedland. Carparking was close but it was still a bit of a trek to our room with our work equipment. Be prepared for some disruption from the Port Authority helicopter when they are moving ships on the tide. Restaurant was good.

We were given a room with no Wi-Fi. Whi h us annoying as I specifically booked a hotel with WiFi. Why advertise this when it's not available throughout the hotel there are spots where it's not available

Thank you for your review. We have since purchased upgraded parts for our WiFi network. An IT specialist has also been arranged to attend the hotel and install these parts as well as check the system entirely. We appreciate your time in reporting this fault.

Why advertise WiFi when not available
This is the second time in stayed in a week, as we were travelling to Broome. Each time we were given a room which wouldn’t connect to the WiFi. After much complaining the second time we were moved where we were able to connect, but it was next to the lift. Very noisy. The food in the restaurant was good as was the service.

Nice hotel, with great bar area and outdoor area! Room pleasant! Could do with some modernising inside in comparison to outside.. carpets etc!! No cold water from cold taps! Overall good experience and would stay there again

The property was unique and reminded me of Kalgoorlie hotels, good condition and nice restaurant. The TV in the room wouldn't turn off from remote so had to unplug and then wouldn't turn back on, so that was annoying but we only stay 1 night so wasn't worth getting someone to check it for us. Overall very nice hotel, good service and restaurant, breakfast was nice also.

This is a very nice hotel, in port Hedland, we try and stay here most times. - staff are friendly and good pub meal and rooms are clean.

Next to the Port
Stayed 4 nights , rooms OK , No comfortable chair to watch TV or work at desk . Satellite TV patchy , and at times unable to watch. Rooms facing road side constant noise overnight due to next to port . Had to endure two nights of restless sleep due to the noise ,breakfast is the usual for hotels.Small shopping area within walking distance and a reasonable cafe not far away either if you don't wan to dine at hotel restaurant.Need a car to get around as South Hedland and airport 10-12kms away. If you do stay ask for an inside room and probably would be much more appealing .

Overall the place was fine, it was just the false fire alarm in the middle of the night which soured my experience with this place.

The facility to work from a laptop is wanting. The "rustic" desk a) cant get your knees under it b) has too deep groves/wood grain effect to be able to write on it c) has no power point nearby. other than its great.
