The property was close to both Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. We found it easy to visit both locations from this motel.

If all you need is a place to lay your head for the night, then this place would accommodate. However, staff at front desk is pitiful. I was there for 15 minutes, ringing the bell and calling the hotel number trying to find somebody to check me in. It turned out the person that does that is also managing the hotel next door and he runs between the two. I suggested he put a sign up. He was not apologetic. The first night the TV had no signal, and the gentleman working the front counter, came up and answer a few minutes was able to get it back online. The second night the exact same thing happened however, the person at the front desk never came to my room after I waited for an hour. So I had no TV that evening. And when I want to check out, I didn’t get a thank you for staying with us, hope you will come back, were there any issues, nothing other than a we got it The only bright spot was breakfast, which was pretty decent, and while the first day there was nobody with inside of breakfast the second day, the young lady attending to it was extremely polite. She took care of things, kept things, neat and clean and tidy. I was very impressed with her. It is she and the rest of the staff Does not have the same work ethic. Overall, based on my experience, this hotel was way over priced

We chose this hotel because of the great ratings but were very disappointed. The central air in the building was so extremely loud, even though we turn our room’s AC off, that it woke us up all night off and on. There was a large live bug in the bathroom. There were old coffee grounds in the coffee maker. The bed was very uncomfortable.We will never stay there again.

Don’t stay here.
My first room had ginormous centipedes in it (dead on the floor, multiple, pic doesn’t do it justice, they were the length of my palm), my second room the shower head didn’t work. Beds were incredible uncomfortable, the kind that have a flat hard surface and very bouncy inner springs. The staff was friendly. I tried to contact management about my issues, I received no response, I tried corporate, same thing. It’s also located right next to a super divey strip club.

The area they are in looks kind of sketchy. It seems okay upon first walking in, aside from the old/mildew smell. The staff is NEVER at the front desk and you call and no one answers the phone. To make matters worse, I went to my room and there were live bed bugs on the mattress. I reported it and they moved my room. Well guess what...the next room also had bed bugs on the mattress. I told them and requested a refund since I had been in the building less than 40 min. They said they would and never did. And are now adamantly refusing to give a refund despite the conditions of the rooms, which makes them uninhabitable. Definitely would NOT recommend. Wish I could have given no stars.

Disappointing experience
The first room the a/c was not working, the carpet was nasty, the phone did not work nor the hair dryer. The 2nd room they gave us was better, a/c at least cooled the room. Hairdryer and phone did not work. No cleaning service the entire stay. Had to request clean towels and no one picked up the dirty towels.

I have stayed at other hotels that had more comfortable beds. Had to go to another floor for ice. Found a damp towel behind the bathroom door when we arrived. Older building needing some maintenance.TV had an issue which was supposed to be taken care of.
