"No communications. Hidden costs, held to ransom after arrival to get keys. Dirty And worst of all no bed sheets , pillow cases or duvet covers. When asked where they were was told not listed in ad and hung up on. Agreed the listing didn’t say bedding included but didn’t say it wasn’t and for the expensive cost I would have expected it. This is basically a PGL style bunk house. Avoid at all costs."

"This is a beautifully maintained guest house. The owner was very accommodating with our check-in time and helpful at check-out. The place is just like the pictures and very well maintained. We used it for one night after touring Normandy for the day. The property is very quiet and has black-out shades in the rooms. We all slept so well that night. Thanks!"

"Very clean with large spaces. We loved pulling in and seeing the farm dog sitting near the farmhouse. The hosts met us for check in with two glass bottles of their freshly pressed apple and pear juices! This spot is charming. We wish we could have stayed longer. Full sized kitchen appliances! One note for Americans who have not been to France before…the WC or room with the toilet upstairs does not have a sink in it. The sink is the next door over with the showers. Fairly common. "Merci infiniment à Mme de Montgolfier pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse. Nous avons passé de superbes moments dans sa maison normande très bien équipée et très grande. Quaint, quiet Inn

"The hotel was just outside Caen in a quiet little village. The drive to Caen for our tours was lovely and scenic. There were several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are simple but spacious and have large baths with great showers and it appears that they were recently renovated. While we did not have breakfast, there is a bright breakfast room with a lovely spread. There is also a small sitting room where you can enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine. The staff was quite friendly and helpful."

"We loved this little property! The first night we stayed in an upstairs bedroom with a loft. The second night was on the first floor in an ADA compliant room. The first floor is highly recommended if you are an over packer like me! The room was large and the bathroom was huge! We really appreciated the towel warmer after a cold/rainy day. The bed and room itself were very comfortable. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. Bayeux is a quaint little town with excellent shopping, dining and people. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Hotel and staff were welcoming. Bright fresh reception. Room was as expected, but ensuite was better than usual premier classe hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Area around hotel was quiet. Eating places within walking distance."
