Great getaway!

This house was in a great location with about a 8 minute walk to the beach! The host was super nice and replied fast! Definitely would come back.

Beautiful house, spacious, good location. The golf cart wasn’t charged and didn’t run well but it was ok for what we used it for, wish they had more towels and wash cloths, but overall stay was an 8!!

Great place for a small group

We had 3 couples and our kids stay for Mother’s Day weekend. The cabin was just as it’s described. Golf cart beach access just down the street. Property contact very responsive.

Loved almost all of the house

There was plenty of space for us to spread out and just relax. And the house is very cute. However there is a musty mildew smell through the whole house that we could not get rid of. The two doors to the screened in area would not open. And when it rained the master bedroom window leaked and the floor was covered in water.

The house was good for our short stay but I will say there is a few things that could have been better. The fridge barely kept the food cold and the spin cycle on the washing machine didn’t work so we had to ring the water out of our clothes. I liked being able to walk to the beach but we did end up renting a golf cart as the golf cart wasn’t available for use while we were there. We had 9 people in our party and only had 5 or 6 towels to share for showers so we did go buy more. Overall, the house had plenty of space for everyone and was very enjoyable and we would stay again. We had no issues with wifi, the host was very quick to respond to messages, and the downstairs area was very spacious. We enjoyed our stay.

Family Reunion

We booked this property because it was relatively close to where other family was staying, but in addition they allowed me to bring my small dog. I was also impressed because it was an easy process and when I arrived the home was nicer even than the pics show it to be. Also a shout out to the property representative who i texted close to midnight the second evening because I couldnt get into the house because I had locked the wrong latch when leaving earlier. He texted right back with a solution and we were in within minutes of contacting him. This was my first VRBO vacation but will use them again, and will consider this beach house for my next beach vacation.

Adequate, but not great

Listing was good enough for a quick beach weekend, but I would not stay longer than that. Pros: grill and charcoal provided, plenty of kitchen supplies, washer and dryer available. Cons: Communication with owner was bad. Gave check in instructions an hour before check in after many unanswered calls and texts. Did not provide check out instructions. Was hit with a hard storm on one of the nights on our stay and every single door began leaking. Easy clean up with a towel but not a fun situation. Power went out and did not return until minutes before check out. Owner said afterwards that the neighborhood has power problems often.

Nice house needs some TLC

Jacuzzi tub does Not work.(This was reason for renting this property) Also faucet handles fall off.Bench upstairs balcony broken. Curtains in dining area ripped .Screened in porch screens are torn. Power went out at 9:30pm did Not come back on until 7:30 am.Learned from local people that was a planned outage. Owners or VRBO should have warned us of this outage.Husband sleeps with a CPAP. Stove in kitchen was dirty not properly cleaned.Nice house needs some TLC.

Not as described

The house was not very clean. The air filter was filthy, black mold was around every air vent, and upon entering the house it smelled of mold. The chairs at the table were dirty, like liquid had spilled on them. The electric range top takes forever to heat up, so it took 30 minutes to make pancakes. Everything felt dirty. There is only a few towels for the property, so I would suggest bringing your own to bathe with. The downstairs bar area consists of a broken hammock, some wood made to look like a bar top, and some sad string lights. There was no grill, as advertised. All the smoke detectors in the house were missing. And there isn't a beach view, only a view of the main hwy. We have rented in Bollivar many times and always enjoyed our stay but this time I was very disappointed. We will not rent here again.

Beach House

This is a very roomy house for family with kids. Needs some maintenance like light bulbs out throughout house, jacuzzi tub doesn’t work, right sink in master bathroom does drain well, patio furniture on top deck torn(can’t sit on bench), screened in room screen falling off, outside grass high and patio bar area need maintenance. None of this really interferes with our stay though. House was sufficient and roomy. If not for stairs I would stay again property owner very attentive and polite.

Nice place to stay

Good communication and checkin made easy. The house is nice and easy walking distance to beach. Close to shops and restaurants a short drive away. Wish the weather would have been better but everything else was very enjoyable. We appreciated that things like paper products and cleaning supplies were well stocked. The Wi-Fi was not strong enough for streaming movies.

Family Beach Vacay

The house was clean and had a washer and a dryer which was nice. There were adults and children of all ages at the house and we enjoyed playing games on the patio. We walked to the beach in the evenings.

Loved it!

Loved the place and location, even though it was a little walk it was not bad and having the golf cart to carry the heavy stuff made it easier. They had almost everything we needed the only thing that would have been nice was a high chair and baby crib/Pac n play. There was a pile of dirty towels in laundry room, shower was dirty, and the coffee pot was not clean. Over all the experience was great, if I messaged the owner they were quick to respond with any questions. It was a great experience over all!
