2 Story Upscale Beachfront House With unobstructed Beach Views from every room.

Enjoy waking up from any bedroom with a view of the ocean. Have your coffee on the balcony of your bedroom or downstairs in a large den full of Windows with unobstructed ocean views. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs that share a balcony with an unobstructed view of the Ocean. The bedrooms upstairs has a wall of windows that face the ocean. You can just lay in bed and watch the ocean roll in with the brown pelicans and other salt air birds enjoying their habitat. There is a 4th bedroom downstairs. There are 3 full bathrooms 2 upstairs and 1 down. The large den Downstairs has a wall of windows that also has an unobstructed full view of the Ocean. The house is located in an upscale subdivision in Crystal beach. In Crystal beach you can rent golf carts to drive on the beach which is one of the many reasons I chose Crystal beach instead of Galveston.

Do not walk over the dunes, there is a $1500 fine. There is a neighborhood walkover to the beach next door, please do not walk through neighbors yard.
Please run dishes in the dishwasher before departure.

Take Mom to the Beach

It was wonderful! The cabin was in a great location, easy access to the beach, had plenty of room for everyone, a great AC, a fun kitchen to cook in, super comfy beds with good pillows, easy to access wifi…it was perfect for us.

The best, as usual!

Our family has stayed at A Salty Lime multiple times and it's always amazing! The views and easy access to the beach can't be beat and the house is spacious and comfortable for a big group! We can't wait to be back!

Amazing weekend

We loved this house! It was perfect for our family weekend getaway. Conveniently located near The Big Store for groceries and supplies, and Stingaree Restaurant. The views are amazing, enough parking for everyone, only a few blocks from a golf cart rental, and the house itself is very comfortable and welcoming. We will hopefully be back.

We had a wonderful time at this beach home! Everything was perfect and the views were outstanding! Renee always responded quickly and helped when needed. We use VRBO often and this is one of our all time favorites!

A little business a lot of relaxation!

We came to Texas on business but decided to make a mini vacation of it as well. We really enjoyed our time at “A Salty Lime”. The house was a perfect fit for our family and Renee was very responsive and hospitable. Very clean and the location was ideal.

Loved our stay, as usual!

Our extended family has stayed at A Salty Lime several summers now and we always have an amazing time. We range in age from toddlers to adults and it’s so nice to be close enough to the beach to head back to the house for naps, etc. as needed throughout the day. The setup allows us all to have our space within the house and enjoy the living space and large balcony on the first level together. We can’t wait for our next stay!

Perfect for a family get-together

A Salty Lime is a gem! Great location - you can’t get closer to the beach unless you camp on it. The views from the decks are gorgeous and interesting at the same time. It’s located in a quiet, family friendly community. Virtually EVERYTHING is provided with the house - all we needed to bring were our food and clothes. The host was very congenial and reachable. We hope to bring the family back again soon.

Crystal Beach - salty lime house

Renee was a Great Host! Great house! Celebrating 2 birthdays, house had all we needed and then some. We had a great time! Short walk to beach. We will definitely come back!

Nice, comfy stay

Overall, it was really nice. Comfy beds, great views of the beach. Truly a home away from home. Kitchen sink has a drip, and a few cabinets were loose. Nothing that interfered with enjoying the stay but noticed.

Girl Weekend @ Crystal Beach

Everything was there for a relaxing, memorable experience. Three generations of the females of the family spent a fun, carefree time together playing games, playing in the ocean, making crafts, reading books, taking photos and lounging on the verandas to our hearts content. We even managed a shopping trip in Galveston. Would definitely enjoy a return trip. Thanks so much for helping us make great memories.

Our Salty Lime Experience

A beautiful house at an amazing spot on the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better place. My family and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next trip we plan at the beach. Renee was such a gracious host and made sure everything was as it was supposed to be. She even called to check on us and make sure we were having a good time. Our family vacation at the Salty Lime will be one we remember for a long time.

Could have not been happier! This home is even prettier than the pictures. Home was so comfortable, especially the beds. We stayed in and cooked almost every meal. Family Vacation

Enjoyed the house!! The master bedroom upstairs has great views and big bathroom. We did have to take our truck out to beach with everything loaded in back so we didn’t have to make multiple trips. Well worth the beach tag(10.00) . Just make sure you take lots and lots of bug spray. The mosquitoes are out for blood!!!!!! Overall, I would stay again 100%!!!

Just perfect!

Not one complaint! Beautiful home with all the features and accessories you could possibly need....and a great view! Kitchen had all the dishes and utensils needed, the beds were super comfortable, we loved the outdoor shower. We enjoyed stargazing on the deck each night! Easy beach access and large covered area downstairs. Deck is gated and safe for pets and kids. Owner was readily available and easy to communicate with. We hope to return and we highly recommend this beautiful, big beach-front home!

Return Visit

This was our third stay at the Salty Lime. The house is perfect for large and small groups, everything you need is provided in the well stocked kitchen. The views from the decks are breathtaking. The gated lower deck allows for the family dog to enjoy the ocean air safely with no worries of them taking off after the occasional rabbit/wildlife which may pass in the yard. Renee is wonderful with any questions you may have. The salty lime is indeed beginning to feel like home, we will be back soon.

Amazing Get Away

Our family had an amazing time at this property. The house was very clean with up front views of the ocean in a great neighborhood. The lower deck was large & included a gate for the stairs ensuring safety for pets and children. The house was well stocked and has new appliances. I appreciated that it also had plenty of empty drawers & cupboards for our stuff. The beds were all comfortable which makes a huge difference in enjoying your vacation. The owner is very accommodating and communicates very quickly. Overall this is a great property, don't hesitate to book.

Great place!

They just don’t make places as close to the beach as this house! The view takes the cake, but everything about this rental was perfect. So many (comfy) sleeping options, fully stocked kitchen, kids beach toys, first aid kit, more than enough towels, laundry detergent, hair blow dryer AND straightener, every seasoning you could imagine, board games, I could go on and on… it’s cute, it’s clean, okay I’ll stop! I would recommend getting a golf cart because you have to walk around to get to the walkway and by then you could already be there via cart. I personally like to unpack my suitcase into dressers and luckily I got the only room with one. I would LOVE to stay here again!

Great Time at the Salty Lime

The cabin is in a great location, of course I checked it out before booking and it lived up to all the reviews. We did not encounter any problems with the wifi, had two lawyers working at the cabin, if there would have been an issue I would have heard about it. I grew up in Texas and always enjoy hosting family and friends at the beach. The space under the cabin gave us plenty of room for everyone. Back in Iowa now but already looking forward to a return trip. The walkover is so convenient, we set up our tents right in front of it and spent 8 hours a day at the beach. The A/C also worked very well. Thanks Reyna!!!

Beautiful place

We had a group of 11 and the house was very roomy. Plenty of space for all of us. We loved that the beach was just right there. It made it really easy to go down in the morning and not have to worry about getting sand inside our cars at the end of the day. After reading other reviews i made sure we brought everything we needed so we wouldnt have to make the hour drive to galveston but there are a few stores that are local so it was no big deal. We have been going to surfside for years and wanted to change it up a little. The beach was great for my younger two. The waves arent very rough here. It was a great time and we will definitely be back.

Awesome Labor Day Trip at the Beach!

We had a great time in this house. Initially there was an operator error with the fridge (packed it way too full with warm drinks- just give it the night to cool down!), but Renee was very sweet and helpful and ready to send her handyman if necessary. Turns out we just needed to give the fridge more time! The house itself was lovely. Close to the beach (access is one house over), packed with all the kitchen utensils you could need to cook and plenty of towels. We ended up buying toilet paper on the last day but that's just because my group was 10 people (all around 30 years old, looking for a fun weekend together), less than that and we wouldn't have had to buy toilet paper. Having a full-size washer and dryer was excellent! This is a great house for a beach getaway with your friends!

An Ideal Property for a Fun Family Getaway

We found this property after a lucky last minute cancellation and are so glad that we booked it! First impressions when walking in were that the space was bright, airy, clean, and welcoming. The bedrooms were roomy and nicely decorated. We also really appreciated that each room had a tv which made it nice and easy to have some solo time watching what you wanted. There were plenty of fresh towels; ample pots and pans in a variety of sizes; utensils, cups, and dishes; and kitchen electronics that made it easy to whip up almost any kind of meal we wanted. The beachfront views were fantastic! And the two-level decks provided access to both shade and sun, making them absolutely PERFECT for breezy, mid-day afternoon naps with beachfront ocean waves to lull you to sleep. As for the property owner, Reyna was so warm, friendly, and professional, and made us feel right at home during our stay. She gave us restaurant recommendations, encouraged us to take advantage of all of the properties amenities, and was highly and promptly communicative. We had such a good time that we were already talking about renting this property again before we even left! We feel so fortunate that we got to stay at The Salty Lime and look forward to returning!
