"A one night stay prior to taking the ferry to Victoria. This is a no frills hotel. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean, but really needs updating. The room was quiet, even though our room was right by the street. There did not appear to be any newer hotels in Port Angeles, so you have to take what you can get."

"We booked this last minute, and it was the most reasonable priced, decent looking place we found. This is an older/no frills motel, so they updated as much as they could without doing drastic renovations. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Also great that they renovated the floors with no carpet. Wall thermostat was dated- could not figure out how to turn it off."

"We stayed for 2 nights on our tour around Washington. The room was tidy and clean and the location out of town ideal for us. No TV, but who needs a TV in a surrounding like that. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that you have no human contact with the owner or staff. Everything is done via the internet or by phone."

At this price point you're not getting a lot of room amenities (eg, no coffee machine in the room with coffee available at the office) but the water was good and hot in the showers!
