Nest · Treehouse on the Water -Eagles Nest-20 ft high

Soar 20 ft in the trees as you overlook the Strait. Relax in many areas of this unique craftsman treehouse. You can be mesmerized as you sit or sleep in the large window seat watching the ships sail by, eagles fly across your window, deer eat in the meadow below-or spend time in the hammock hanging from the tree inside or the loft hammock. Every part of the treehouse is unique-you will find yourself wanting to unplug and enjoy every aspect of the house.

We have many spaces that you can relax, spend time alone, enjoy the beauty of the surrounding, listen to music on the Bose system or records, cook in the fully equipped kitchen or BBQ. The fire heated hot tub is a wonderful experience. If you want to venture down to the ground you can make a fire, take time to swing, or sit on the many sitting areas at the bluff.
This is attached to a smaller part that 2 people may be renting-they have their own entrance and you should not ever see them-your windows and porches are very private.
Here’s the link for the other tree house!

I give my guests their privacy. I am not too far away that if something is needed I can help.

We are at the edge of a developement down a dead end road. There is a house at the front of the property 250 feet away, from the treehouse you cannot see anybody-unless people are down on the ground.

You will need to drive here, the discovery bike trail does go through the development we are in.

There is a house being built next door-you cannot see it from the treehouse and with a little music in the background (if they are making any noise) you will not even know its there.
We do allow pets for a fee and if you abide by the rules
The hot tub
Fill with water past the hole from fire
Start fire ( there is a metal box on little shed) this has firestarters, lighter) keep fire going and water stirred till your desired temp. Be very careful with hot water coming in - it is very hot.

If you're looking for a quiet place with an absolutely amazing view, this is it. Waking up with the ocean out your window, waves crashing against the bluff, and sounds of birds chirping is just unbelievable. The place has three fire pits, a hot sauna, and the most unusual wood burning hot tub you'll ever experience (highly recommended even though it's a lot of effort to get ready). It's expensive but these views make it worth it. My family also really enjoyed the interior with a cool hammock and two lofts. The warning I'll give here is that it isn't small kid or elderly friendly. The steps are far too narrow and I thought I would fall a few times. One of the lofts also has the opening right next to the bed so if you were to roll out of bed, you could easily fall 10 feet. There were also a few outdoor games (axe throwing, croquet, and corn hole. They were a pleasant surprise. Due to the 4pm checkin and 11am checkout, give yourself at least two nights here to enjoy the amenities. Improvements: * no small pots to cook with. Given how stocked the kitchen was, this was odd. * grill should probably be replaced * consider adding a curtain around the shower so the whole bathroom doesn't get wet. * please include some fire starters. The kindling shed was empty and when I asked about it, the person responded that they'll ask the owner but I never did get it replenished. * I asked about early checkin multiple times (via voicemail and text) and was ignored.

Unique and Fun!
We stayed here one night, along with another couple. The place is very cool and would be great for kids. Two of the bedrooms are lofts. They’re spacious and great for able bodied people. My wife and I slept comfortably on a daybed on the main floor as I have arthritis. Shower is great! Small living space but very well appointed and the location is great. Very serene overlooking the ocean. We had fun watching the cruise ships from afar. Great spacious yard! We had fun roasting marshmallows over the campfire. There was another family in the adjoining treehouse but we still felt like we had our privacy. Fun and unique experience, we recommend!

Very cool place to stay. Well equipped. A bit tighter quarters than the photos make it appear.
