Hidden Chicken Remodeled, charming, pet friendly

On the west side of Port Angeles, this fresh 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage has been remodeled. New furnishings and decor, it is a wonderful home base for experiencing all the Northwest has to offer.  It is a mere 20 minute drive to the Salt Creek Rec Area for wide sandy beaches, picnics, kayaying and tidepooling.  Also 30 minutes from Lake Crescent for waterfall trails and lake kayaking.

Inside, relax in the warm and inviting living area with new, comfy furniture, streaming TV entertainment, and free Wifi. Enjoy making meals in the beautiful, well equipped kitchen, complete with pots and pans, range, oven, microwave and fridge. The two bedrooms have one queen and one with a full. The hall bath has a tub/shower combo with all towels provided. Washer and dryer. The back yard is fully fenced, good sized lawn, large pear tree, plus a new gas grill and seating.

*This is a pet friendly property; please inquire with weight, breed and training of your dog for consideration. Additional pet fee of $100 per booking will be requested at the time of booking. 2 dogs max. Our Pet policy will be required to be signed at the time of check in.

Great retreat for quick trips, small families or guests looking for a place to call "home" for a bit longer stay.

Only 35 minutes from Olympic National Park, where you can drive up to Hurricane Ridge for spectacular views and an easy hike at the top.

5 Minutes from Ediz Hook, which passes several turnouts and picnic areas, with broad views of Port Angeles and the Olympic Mountains

Family Trip to Olympic National park

Lovely stay

Clean, comfortable, quiet peaceful neighborhood. Felt safe. Plenty of towels and daily supplies. We found the “Hidden Chicken”and enjoyed watching the neighborhood bunnies. Loved our time there!

Nice but not dog friendly

The house was nice but expensive for one couple and two small for two. Only about 7-10 days before our arrival did we receive a contract to sign about all the things our dog could not do or else.

Delightful Retreat

Had a wonderful time exploring the Olympics and the coast using Port Angeles as a base. This home was the perfect retreat. Very clean and neat, well apportioned, conveniently located, friendly neighbors, and helpful management. Would definitely recommend to friends and return again in the future.

Perfect spot for travels around Olympic

Very cute house! Great big windows in the common areas to let in plenty of light and from which to see the water out front at the mountains out back. While everything is a drive for Olympic, this place provided a perfect spot to serve as our home base. Our favorite “amenity” was the adorable family of wild bunnies in the back yard. They provided plenty of entertainment.

Very Cosy felt like home

This was a perfect stay, as we had told the property manager that we were moving from Washington to Alabama it was perfect for my mother-in-law, my husband, myself and our three dogs very cute place. I will let all of my friends who visit Washington the Olympic peninsula to check out the VRBO. It is super cute loved watching all the bunnies in the backyard and even heard the story about the hidden chicken from the neighbor next-door thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home

Nice property, good location

Overall, the property is great. Nice quality, newly updated and loved the pear tree on the backyard. Couple of things to improve upon would be to add a dishwasher and a grill.

Cute and cozy cottage

Convenient location and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. If there was any negative, 8th street is quite a busy street. It was entertaining to watch the baby bunnies that lived in the bush out front! Glad they never went in the street!! Would definitely stay again.
