Centrally located, convenient hotel.

Verden Hotel is located in the center of Lakselv, close to restaurants, shops, and services. This is why we chose the hotel. The room was small for $200 after taxes, and the charge for a second person. It’s comfortable enough, but not renovated. The service was fine, but not polished. The breakfast was good, and there is a restaurant, which one of the better ones in Lakselv.

Bathtub placement is a safety hazard.

The overnight stay was payed by bonus points = i probably got the worst rom at the hotel. It was clean, fridge in the rom, good bed, good parking, tip-top breakfast. But on the bathroom they had a bathtub that about 15cm intruding the door into bathroom. Bathtub had no side panels = sharp edges around the bathtub, feet and brackets for fastening side panels. It's not a safety conscious decision but a clear oversight.

Easy to arrive but you may end up to a terrible ro

No greetings when we arrived, this seemed a little bit strange. Our room in a second floor had a terrible smell and the front desk lady told me she couldn't change our room. Then I noticed the shower was also broken. This time a very helpful front desk gentlemen changed our room to another on the third floor. Breakfast was ok.

Rommet var gammelt og slitent. Gammelt gulvbelegg som gjorde gulvet ganske kaldt. Dusjforheng som klistrer seg til kroppen trekker ned. I dusjen finner du en beholder merket "2 in 1", altsÄ ingen sjampo, balsam og dusjsÄpe hver for seg. Mangler plass pÄ badet til Ä sette fra seg toalettartikler. Rommet har en bitteliten tv. Observerte flere rom som sÄ nye/oppusset ut, sÄ mulig hotellet jobber med fornying av rommene. Personellet er veldig hyggelig og imÞtekommende, men vi mÄtte vente litt pÄ betjening bÄde ved inn-og utsjekk, da samme personell ogsÄ jobber i restauranten. Personell i resepsjon hadde meget krÞllete uniform, noe som er med pÄ Ä trekke ned helhetsinntrykket. Frokosten er sparsommelig. Kom til frokost 30 min fÞr den stengte og en del av pÄlegget virket som det var uttÞrket. Restauranten/baren/frokostsalen er flott og virker ny/oppusset.
