"Third stay here and the place just gets better. Unlike other hotels that get tired and worn out - this one is always maintained very well and repairs that need doing are done - not left to get worse. Staff are brilliant and friendly. Restaurant and continental breakfast very good. Close to A1 so easy to get anywhere around. Pool and sun terrace are a big bonus and the pool is on site just a short walk from the main entrance not 1km away, like some hotels claiming they have pool access. All in...

"Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly. The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). "

"I have stayed at the Hotel Duomo during many trips to Orvieto and it is the perfect place to stay! Right next to the Cathedral in the center of town, it could not be more perfectly located. They have a great breakfast, and it’s a great family run hotel. I highly recommend the hotel. "

"Beautiful spot in the top of the hill with a fantastic view. You can walk to have an almost 360 degree view of the Tuscany Valley and smell the great collection of roses. Awesome place organized with very nice selection of furniture and modern amenities. The place and the service are really lovely. "

"The location is close to the train station. You can walk up to Orvieto - it’s a 10-15 minute walk. The owners were really sweet and helpful. My room was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy the pool."

"It is the most beautiful castle with well appointed rooms with sitting rooms right outside your room. Very atmospheric. The town is on your door step and the best food we have eaten in a month of travelling Italy. The trattoria da picchietto. Love love love it"

"Perfect at lake shore. And only 8min walk to old town. Nice outdoor area with good sized pool. But saving money by turn of air conditioning on all rooms must be stopped and leave to each guest themselves to decide. Plus that they turn on the central air conditioning again when I asked for it. Made us able to control after our desire from our room. "
