"A lovely little hotel for our first night in Croatia. We wanted a place not too far from Zadar airport on the way to Plitvice. The hotel was perfect as it is newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable and furnished to a high spec though a chair would have been appreciated. We had time for a lovely walk along the river to a waterfall then enjoyed an excellent pizza and beer at the hotel overlooking the river. The drive from the hotel to Plitvice is stunning."

"We arrived at Vila Nika to discover that it had been booked already but the owner gave us a room in the Boutique Cosmopolis situated opposite. The view was much prettier, we could see the sunset on the sea, it was beautiful. However there was no kitchenette so we struggled a fair bit in terms of cleaning cups/spoons/etc where we had to use the sink in the bathroom. "My husband and I stayed here for one night as we were driving down to Split for our primary stay and flew in from Scotland with the only direct flight to Croatia being Zadar. We wished we could've stayed a little longer because Villa Mirakul is a beautiful property and we would've loved some time to explore the area. We unfortunately had a delayed flight so we were going to be past the cutoff time for check-in, but the host was amazing and left instructions for us to get in. Very clean room and easy navigation to the parking area. Hope we can return one day for a longer stay!"

"We loved staying at camp Paklenica the mobile home was perfect for what we needed. The staff were very friendly and wanted to make sure everything was ok for us. The beach was were we spent most of our time as it was lovely. Beautiful sunsets. We walked in the national park up the mountain beautiful scenery. We hope to stay again next summer but will hire a car to explore more of the area."

"I would like to say that I was very disappointed that you have to buy your own water when dinning. It’s as if they are cashing in on your need to drink water with your meal. Water is an everyday need for survival. I think you really need to look at this as many others talked about this also while I was there as was very disappointed! "
