"The rooms are basic but really good. Just need stronger fans as it was very humid. But the people and the place is amazing. Our tour was excellent, the local crew who took us for the crew were the best. The food served in an island was one of the best we ate. Also the food served at the resort was by far the best we ate. "

"First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation. The food options were great, many options. This can just be your stay without ever visiting town. The view was jaw dropping everyday. Aircon was strong , even had to turn it off it got so cold. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open. Cons might be the cost of getting into town, cost 2.5k per way. So plan for that cost as fuel prices are taking a toll on transport. Also there is a 22 percent tax on all food, but the prices of food are cheap enough that you don’t notice. The complaints I see online don’t seem fair. They are very misguided. This is a five star stay. They have great activities , and amazing amazing spa. Only $15 for the top massage for 2 hours and scrub. I will stay here again, only difference is I’ll rent a car as you are hour outside of coron town."

For couples seeking a romantic getaway, families looking for a safe, activity-rich destination, or anyone who simply wants to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with nature and loved ones, La Estancia is an ideal choice. Just come prepared to embrace the seclusion—that's part of what makes this resort so special. We left La Estancia feeling refreshed, appreciated, and already planning our return visit. In a world where genuine hospitality is increasingly rare, this resort stands as a shining example of how things should be done. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, peaceful, and thoroughly enjoyable Philippine island experience."

"The staff and location is the best thing about this resort. Matt, the diving instructor, and the boat captains were excellent. The rest of the staff - cooks,,servers, housekeeping - were so friendly and kind. Although there is construction going on to expand and renovate the resort, they were pretty quiet and respectful. The room we stayed in is one of the newer rooms but even the older rooms were okay. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with ocean views. "

"Beautiful property with fresh clean rooms. The place is immaculate, and the staff is super accommodating. They arranged several island tours and daily excursions, the sunset one being spectacular. The upstairs restaurant prepared delicious evening meal with a wide variety of Japanese and Asian food. The only drawback was the rooster farm next to the property. They can be annoying."

"We loved our stay here. Peter, Bianca and all their staff are fabulous. They have arranged boat tours, room service, early breakfast delivery and packed lunch, and transportation from and to the airport for us. The food in their little restaurant was awesome as well. The place is away from the hustle and bustle of Coron town but still had easy access to all beautiful islands, snorkeling places and sandy beaches. I highly recommend this place!"
