"Nice classic hotel very close to the Rome - Pescara highway. On the edge of Popoli a great old town with good restaurants a river running through. The restaurant and hotel caters to travelers and truck drivers and was great for what I needed. "

"It was just Ok, location was great, close to cafes and downtown area. The place was dated and the stairs were steep which made it hard to climb. We had issues with shower drainage but the owner was very responsive."

"Alessandra is charming and friendly and is always willing to offer helpful tips for visiting in the area. La Villa is on a side street with little traffic and street parking is available without charge. Breakfast was delicious. Still, as with any shared space, you are at the mercy of your neighbors. During our stay, they were particularly loud at night, returning from a party that didn't end when they entered La Villa. Along with violent snoring next door, that made for a sleepless night. It's impossible to blame Alessandra for that, and I don't, but I will probably stay elsewhere when I return to the area."
