About this property

Private Lake Superior Beachfront Retreat on 200 Acres

  • Private Lake Superior Beachfront Retreat on 200 Acres

Experience the beauty of Lake Superior from your own private retreat. Nestled on over 200 acres with direct access to the South Shore, this vintage camper offers a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, incredible sunsets, and one of the most beautiful stretches of shoreline on the lake.

The beach is perfect for long walks, searching for Lake Superior agates and sea glass, relaxing by a campfire, or simply listening to the waves. Spend your days exploring miles of private trails and your evenings watching the sun set over Lake Superior. If your stay falls over the Fourth of July, you may even be able to watch the Duluth fireworks from the beach after sunset.

    The Trailer

This is a clean, comfortable 2003 camper that has recently been deep cleaned and fully tested. While it isn't a luxury RV, everything has been prepared so guests can enjoy a comfortable stay in an unforgettable setting.

The trailer comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests and includes:

    Air conditioning
    Heat
    Running water
    Hot shower
    Hot water heater
    Private bathroom
    Stove
    Oven
    Microwave
    New bedding
    Electricity throughout

Please note: The refrigerator is currently out of service while we wait for a replacement part. Please plan to bring a cooler with ice. Everything else in the trailer is fully operational.

    The Property

The trailer is only part of the experience. The real attraction is the property itself.

Over 200 private acres to explore
Direct access to a beautiful Lake Superior beach
    Incredible sunsets nearly every evening
Miles of walking and hiking trails
Excellent agate and sea glass hunting
    Beach campfires under the stars
    Outstanding bird watching
Peace, privacy, and room to unwind

Guests who have camped on the property have consistently described it as one of their favorite places to stay. If you enjoy camping, feel free to bring a tent and spend a night sleeping right on the beach.

    Good to Know

This is an older camper that has been carefully cleaned and prepared for guests. If you're looking for a modern luxury RV, this may not be the right fit. If you're looking for an authentic Lake Superior adventure with breathtaking scenery, private land, and a peaceful place to disconnect, you'll likely love it here.

Come experience one of Wisconsin's hidden gems on the South Shore of Lake Superior. Whether you're hunting for agates, watching the sunset, exploring the trails, or simply enjoying the quiet, this is a place where lasting memories are made.

A very unique private property with Lake Superior access. The land itself was beautiful with private beaches covered in driftwood. The access to get to the lake was treacherous; a steep winding hillside trail with wood stairs not nailed together that collapsed while we were there. Luckily no one was hurt. The camper on site was rotted out. Ceiling in main bedroom falling in, bathroom floor so soft you were worried it would fall through at any moment. Camper seam in the bunk area split and rotted, leaks water. Mold on the back of the dinette cushions and lots of dead bugs inside the camper. The worst part was the smell inside the camper. It smelled like decay and rot and was intolerable. Even the water smelled like something had died in the tank. We ended up having to sleep in our vehicles and a tent. The ad said pets welcome so we had our dog along and were not able to find any other accomodations that would allow a pet his size. We looked in several surrounding cities to try to find another place to stay with him because the camper was uninhabitable. Owner did say shower, stove and power all work, but the smell in the camper was too bad to use the shower or stove. Power was from a gas generator only, No actual electric service. Ad said washer and dryer- none. This property should only be listed as a primitive campsite with no amenities. The cost was far too high for far too little.

A genuinely wonderful experience with private beach access. Communication with the host was seamless. Pretty nice location to places like Bayfield or the Twin Ports.
