We had a wonderful stay at La Jacotiere. Véronique was a wonderful host. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the shuttle to Mont St-Michel.
One thing - there are only a few restaurants in the area, so it may be helpful to book dinner a day in advance.

We had a lovely stay at La Jacotière! It’s a great location, quiet and private feeling while also being walking distance to Mont St Michel (and even closer to the bus stop, if you want to skip the walk). Véronique was very kind and helpful, breakfast was great (the local Camembert cheese is incredible!), and the room was comfortable. Absolutely recommend!
Veronique, the hostess, was delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was a treat and included a variety of local cheeses. Great location, walking distance to Mont-St-Michel.
La Jacotiere is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Mont-Saint-Michel. Located on the mainland, this small but lovely property is at the edge of the countryside, away from the crowds but a short walk from restaurants and the bus to Mont-Saint-Michel. It’s also walkable to the island, if preferred, and has a wonderful view of it from the grounds. To top it off, Véronique, who runs La Jacotiere, is wonderful. She's friendly, professional, and knows the area very well. I highly recommend this property. Merci, Véronique, pour ce merveilleux séjour !
I believe this is the closest to Mont St Michel one can stay without being on the island itself. Close to (free) shuttle buses and if one wants to walk only a 30 minute walk to the entrance. Great breakfast, comfortable room and wonderful hostess.
Property itself was clean and very nice. Nothing fancy but the property owner/manager was just lovely and made the experience special. She is super! I’d highly recommend staying here. Easy access to Mt St Michel particularly if you are a walker
Staff is good and nice and helpful
Place are clean but not enough for shampoo and showergel
You can walk to mont saint micheal 2.5 km
Everything is clean
Parking available
The property is within 5 minutes walking distance to the Shuttle bus to Mont San Michel and 8 minutes to a few restaurants. The back garden offers a clear view of the Abbey too!
But what made tour stay special was Veronique the hostess, who made us feel very welcomed with her sincere & eager attitude to ensure that we are comfortable and happy!
She would make recommendations as to where to go for dinner, best time to catch the tides coming in at MSM and even makes yummy croissants or crepes for breakfast.
Merci beaucoup to Veronique for making our 2 nite stay enjoyable and memorable!
Loved our stay here. Veronique was a wonderful hostess and gave us all the info needed on visiting Mont St Michel. Easy walk to the bus to the island and to the local restaurants. Great view from the garden. Definitely would recommend!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The host of this B&B Veronique is very nice, cheerful and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean
We stayed for 2 nights. Loved the location, you can see mt. Saint Michelle from this property.
Breakfast was served by 8:30 with personal touch.
Shops, transportation to go to MSM is walkable.
The only downside was no elevator and we had large and heavy bags so it was a struggle to get them on the 1st floor so my advice travel with light luggage.
We arrived late but Veronica was readily available to accommodate our check-in. She was very helpful in explaining Mont St Micheal, and all of the things to see. Mortenson is a 20-minute walk away for restaurants. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
Camera spaziosa e pulitissima. Padrona di casa molto gentile e disponibile. Ottima e sempre variata la colazione. Da consigliare agli amici
