Lovely pool but gets very busy and sunbeds are sometimes hard to come by. Staff were lovely. "A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

"The hotel interior is beautifully designed and the riverside garden immaculate. However it lacked the service we expected. No lunch time bar snacks but the restaurant opposite offers a full lunch and dinner menu. The additional charge for breakfast was excessive. The hotel is outside the town of Corte so we needed a taxi to and from the railway station which was very expensive given the short distance."

"Very clean and modern. We had a large spacious room with 2 beds, one king and one twin. We had a little outside patio as well as a little table inside for eating. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Easy access to the old city but the walking is mostly uphill. Pool was very small, only for dipping not for swimming."

"The desk clerks at the hotel were excellent particularly Alex who did whatever she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also enjoyed the food and the service in the dining room. We were very disappointed to find that there was no fridge in the room--the only hotel of the 11 on our trip. We could store things in their fridge but that is not the same. Also there were no amenities such as shower cap or makeup remover pads, body lotion. Alex did get some for me but it would be nice to provide those in the room."
