"Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is situated far away from any source of noise - in the middle of farmland. It is very peaceful. "The chateau was stunning. Giles was really friendly and one got the run of the chateau. the rooms were fabulous. Really large with seating areas. One felt at home immediately. Lovely area. Good restaurants in the village. The breakfast was great. Everything you could want with the some of the best coffee I have ever had in France over my 30 years of visiting. Bugs in the room
"There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. They refused to refund me the value of my stay because it was too late for them to rent out the bug infested room to anyone else. I am appalled at the service and the fact that I had to pay for a bug infested room which I did not stay in. "
