It was very a good experience being at the Afrodite House. They provided everything we needed. The room was clean, and the A/C worked well.

The property was well looked after, clean and local to the shops and eating out. Railway was very noisy at times and the constant barking from a dog was a nuisance. Overall stay was enjoyable.

Aphrodite House doesn't look like much from outside and it's a few metres from the train tracks. But! It's beautiful and appears brand new inside. White tile and white bedding, bathroom brand new. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Small mini fridge. Heat pump which was great for cooling during the July heat. Even though it's by the train tracks we didn't notice the train sounds. It's a really great location, close to city centre, bus and train stations, Pompeii is within walking distance (maybe not for young kids). A view of Vesuvius from the window. We took a bus to Vesuvius and the train to Sorrento- both easy to use. We also took the train to Sorrento then ferry around the Amalfi coast- very easy and beautiful. Pompei is beautiful. Recommend and English guide for Pompeii to get a full experience. Friendly hosts for this accommodation but we didn't see anyone once we checked in.

Really clean and comfortable room in a building tucked away from the bustle of Pompei town but within walking distance of all the fun. Excellent hospitality from the host.

It was a nice stay. The host was really nice. Everything was as pictured. The train noises didn’t bother me. Good air con. I booked last minute and didn’t see the notification about contacting the host ahead of time for booking a time for him to come and check me in. My mistake forced me to sit outside the hotel until he could arrive. There’s no reception.
