Get away from the stress and strain of life at this romantic mountain cabin.

Private Mountainside Getaway nestled among the cedars of the Mission Valley mountainside, this newly-renovated cabin is a refreshing destination, a romantic getaway, or a cozy home base for a Montana adventure. At the end of a private road, 1/8 mile from the main house, it is completely secluded.

Easy to get to, but completely off the grid, this clean cabin is comfortable night and day with electric heat / air conditioning. Features full-size washer and dryer, and full-time wifi.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered balcony -- in your pajamas, if you like! Relax by the creek as you watch the water tumble over the rocks, explore the shaded cedar groves and ferns along the mossy creekside, and let the stress of busy life melt away as you breathe the clean mountain air.

Make dinner together in the full-size kitchen, grill on the patio (propane grill provided), or call a local restaurant for delivery.

2 bedroom, 1 bath, enclosed garage parking, full kitchen, laundry, and wifi.

Upstairs features vaulted ceilings with timber beams. Main livingroom, kitchen and dining for 4 are upstairs as well as the bathroom/shower. The balcony overlooks a small pond and fish hatchery that houses Westslope Cutthroat trout during spawning season. Upstairs bedroom has a king size bed with vanity sink and large closet.

Bedroom on lower level has a queen size bed, full size couch and television. There is also a cozy reading nook on the lower level as well as a washer and dryer.

Accommodations are on 160 acres of private land with a creek and walking trails just outside the door. Surrounding area is tribal wilderness.

We live in the main house 1/8 mile away and work from home so are available to answer questions or offer assistance at anytime.

We have been off the grid for over 25 years. The hydroelectric generator provides power for three houses so there are a few guidelines regarding use of the high power consumption utilities (oven and dryer).

During the winter months we do our best to maintain the road but do recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

Amazing Getaway

This property was perfect. It had all the amenities that we needed for our 1 week stay and they were nice enough to keep the firewood stocked for us throughout our stay. We were even able to go on a short hike on the property. It was close enough to Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake that we could do day trips and come back in the evening to enjoy the fire.

Secluded Cabin in the Woods

If you are looking for a secluded getaway, this is the place. The cabin was clean and had everything we need. We loved the serenity, the view of the mountains and listening to sound of the waterfalls from the balcony. We enjoyed hiking the trails and exploring the property and Rick, the owner, was generous to take some time in his busy day to show us around.

Absolutely loved it! Every amenity you’d ever need is provided to make the stay comfortable. Beds are heavenly with lovely linens. Location feels remote and isolated but getting to town is easy. Appreciated still being able to connect with family at home but being in the mountains at the same time.

Cozy Mountain Hideaway!

Gorgeous surrounding area tucked away in the Mission Mountains. The house was very comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. We felt very at home! The fire pit area was a fun area to relax at in the evenings. Nancy was very accommodating with the needs of our party. I wish we would had spent more time exploring the trails around the home!

Everything we needed and more!

This beautiful cabin is exactly as pictured! It was so clean and included everything we could need down to the smallest details! My husband and I have pretty stressful jobs and this trip was the perfect place to rest and reset. We loved the remote feel while still being close to other towns! We had a wonderful time in nearby Polson and also drove up to Glacier for the day! Highly recommend you stay here and we hope to return soon!

Gorgeous Getaway

We stayed at this property for 3 nights in late July. We were visiting the region for the first time, and found this to be a perfect base for our travels to nearby Flathead Lake and Quinn Hot Springs. The place was sparking clean, beautifully decorated, quiet and peaceful. We wound up spending more time at our rental than we had planned because it was so lovely! Hosts Nancy and Rick communicated with us regularly to ensure our stay was comfortable. We appreciated the dry wood to use in the firepit after it had rained all day! Highly recommend this property.

Pheasant Hunt

Visited Ronan for Pheasant Hunting on the reservation in October. It was very close to our hunting areas and only 15 minutes to Harvest foods, a full grocery store. Nancy is a great host along with her husband, Rick kept us supplied with firewood for the fire pit. Great hiking on the property. The house is furnished with top notch appliances and furniture. The beds are very comfortable. We will definitely be back. Exceeded alll expectations!

Nestled in the shadow of the Mission Mountains, this little bit of paradise is a perfect getaway. An immaculate little cabin at the end of a long unpaved road, it has everything you need to serve as a base camp of sorts to all this part of Montana has to offer. After a full day of hiking, we spent our evenings just sitting on the upstairs porch, enjoying the quiet of nature. Nancy was always a text away to answer any questions and is a kind host. Nestled in the shadow of the Mission Mountains, this quaint little cabin is the perfect base camp to explore all this part of Montana has to offer or just get off the grid for a bit. Located at the end of a long, unpaved road, it is secluded and peaceful. My wife and I spent each morning and evening on the upstairs porch — just relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature. We took advantage of the trails on the property to hike up to a spot with an amazing view of the surrounding valley, as well. Nancy was a kind and responsive host — who was always a text away. Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting it again in the future.

Classy Cabin In The Woods

We arrived late at night, after driving on a long dirt road in the dark to a cabin that was all lit up in the middle of seemingly nowhere. It was a welcoming sight. There is a staircase that if your taller than 5'2" you may hit your head on, but that is all forgiven when you arrive at the 2nd floor. The cabin is immaculate, well appointed and beautifully decorated. They provide a Keruig, coffee pods and biscotti! Also various spices and refridgerated items. Everything you need in a kitchen to enjoy a home made meal, just bring your own food and your set. There is no dishwasher. They do have a clothes washer and dryer. You really feel like your in a luxury hotel. The views from each window are amazing. Lots of trails nearby to enjoy. You can hear the running creek. Easy check in and check out. The hosts are awesome and are neaby if needed for anything and are very available to communicate with. We are looking forward to staying again. There really is no place like it in the nearby area. Thank you for such a memorable and delight stay at your cabin!
