"Last minute booking for one night in Cefalu. Cute little place. The exterior and main lobby of the building looks like a forgotten office from the cold war. A tiny elevator takes you to the 4th floor where the B and B is located. You enter into a common area where they have a kitchen and breakfast facilities and the check-in area. "It was an old style family owned b&b, just on the outskirts of Cefalu, it has good parking, and everywhere in the town is walkable. We booked an apartment which was clean and quiet, the breakfast was very good, and Guiseppina the owner made the best Cannoli we had while were were on Sicily. "

"The location is excellent though accessing the bnb is extremely difficult. We had to carry our luggage about a km …this is not clear when booking. The room was ok the bedding passable the bathroom not great ..awful smell must keep the door closed , wifi very slow and the proprietor a bit shifty …we stayed 2 nights which was about one too many …"

"Maria, Theresa, and Peppe were marvelous hosts. They really put passion into their work and became friends. the collazione is homemade, unlike almost every other B&B that just takes stuff out of boxes and lays it out for you to eat. This is a great location...close enough to walk to Castelbuono without the hassle. I recommend B&B wholeheartedly. (Ad the view is indeed great.)"

"Salemare Rooms and Suites was truly a perfect hotel experience. Every detail was well thought out and their staff from check-in, to breakfast, to housekeeping was incredibly warm and competent. Giuseppe went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay, giving us great local recommendations and even making his personal phone line available for us to ask questions. Breakfast was amazing, we loved how the daily offerings changed and the ingredients were so fresh I found myself craving their delicious produce all day. I don’t think we could have picked a more ideal location. A block from the beach, the Salemare felt like it was in the middle of it all, perfectly located between old and new Cefalù, everything was walkable. The minibar was well curated, provided beach towels were plush and luxurious, we loved the drying rack on the balcony, housekeeping was impeccable, toiletries were ample and smelled great, the TV had multiple languages and options like YouTube and Netflix, the marble floors were even more beautiful than in the pictures, the shower created a spa-like experience, and air conditioning almost worked too good…. With only two seasons under their belt: Guiseppe and his family are truly setting the standard for hotels everywhere. We will be day dreaming about this property and beautiful Cefalù until we return. "
