"We just got back from the Boutique BnB Dolcevita and were really pleased with the accommodation. The room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast offered a nice variety, along with good coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to Palermo’s main attractions, in a peaceful spot that’s also close to the Marina. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return on future visits."

"The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, more so than most! We had a member of our group with a disability and they were very accomodating of her in terms of room placement, bed separation etc. They also arranged a taxi for us to the train station on our final day and provided recommendations for where to eat nearby. Plus, a check out time of 12pm is a real luxury! The rooftop food and bar upstairs were fantastic quality too, we had top quality sushi and cocktails there. And we really enjoyed our breakfast up there each morning. I would highly recommend Hotel Plaza Opera given all of the above - plus it is in a very central and convenient area!"

Hotel Mediterraneo

"As a 3-star hotel, the Mediterraneo is excellent value for money and perfectly situated close to the Teatro Massimo and via Macqueda. The breakfast is excellent. However, it is a pity there is no kettle in the room for making tea or coffee. Also, there was no shower cap or shower gel. I have been coming to the Mediterraneo for 51 years (since 1975!). It has always been great under successive management. However, I would like to see a little more by way of facilities in the room, including also a stocked mini-bar."
