Beautiful hotel

Great area to visit.very easy to park open yard parking .and you can take a tuk tuk to town so you don’t have to worry about parking which easiest easy. They have a nice restaurant on property. Staff very friendly and helpful. This was my second stay.

Best hotel I have stayed in. Very clean, superb service, great breakfast and the food in the hotel restaurant is so good! The pool area is elegant and clean and there was always sunbeds available. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely property, excellent staff, great food at their restaurant and very convenient to Polignano a mare and Monopoli. Staff went out of their way to inform me that I’d left something in my room. Greatly appreciated the extra effort! Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

The property was perfectly located away from the mayhem of the town. There was plenty parking and the hotel was beautiful. Our room was clean and had a beautiful balcony. The AC worked perfectly the whole time with no interruptions. The pool and all the facilities were well maintained and all the staff were courteous and polite. Ask for Pasquale when your there he will send you to his friends restaurant where the food was unbelievable. Antonello the hotel manager was always there making sure the operation ran like a well oiled machine. To all the staff of the San Lorenzo thank you for a beautiful stay. We will surely be back and definitely will share and recommend your lovely hotel to our friends and family.

The location is beautiful. Our room size, balcony and view was great. We had the suite. Front desk was attentive. This hotel can be turned into a beautiful and unique resort with a little investment. Decor is outdated. Our air-conditioning system kept shutting down and front desk had to restart it. The fuse in the room would pop when using the hair dryer. We stayed there for 5 nights and sheets weren't changed. Breakfast was at best a 5 out of 10.

The photos make the property look newer and fresher than what you actually see. There are areas around the pool that are older but still in decent condition. Our own bathroom was a bit dinged up and needed some deep cleaning. Overall, we were happy with our stay and the convenient location as a base for exploring Puglia, as well as its close proximity to town and all the dining and shopping options in that area. Staff were generally polite and helpful. Housekeeping occurs on a daily basis and towels are refreshed, which is nice. Breakfast options were quite plentiful. The spa services are great and relatively inexpensive compared to what we pay at home. The beach club in Monopoli was excellent and worth the splurge. We really loved the area and will definitely return to explore more of Puglia and Polignano a Mare.

Fabulous location to get views and be peaceful but hard to walk anywhere!!! No pavements or paths to the town. Taxis are extremely expensive €140 for a return to Alberobello. €15 tut tut one way to town. The spa use expensive €40 each & this wasn’t offered at any discount when staying 5 nights & having a treatment. Maria in the restaurant was the most helpful & friendly. If it wasn’t for her kindness I would have given a lower star rating. The Italian mentality needs to be more cosmopolitan.

Great remote yet convenient for Polignano a Mare. Only a 5 min drive from town. Beautiful grounds around the hotel. Rooms are a bit small, we had a nice large balcony with loungers, table and chairs which was great. We used spa. Keep in mind it is extra and has to be scheduled in advance. I believe 40 euro/person/hour for sauna, hammam, salt room, hot tub. It’s private for your party only. They also charge 5 euro per pool towel if you need it the day of the check out. Pool is very nice, large, plenty of lounge chairs. Breakfast had great selections, very good service. Parking is included, plenty of spots, just keep in mind you have to walk to the hotel from parking or ask for a ride in a golf cart. It’s a quick walk so we did not mind it, grounds are pretty, so every walk was very enjoyable.

Had really good stay. Lovely hotel, free xar parking, only about 5mins drive from Polignano. Rooms clean, beds comfy. Staff friendly. Pool was good. Pool bar open till about 8pm. Had dinner onsite. Was decent.
