"What a warm reception upon arrival! The owner, Bimal, was very welcoming and gracious, and so proud to tour us thru his property (as he should be, it’s beautiful!). We received a cup of tea upon arrival, toured the grounds, and were given suggestions on where to wander to find fun restaurants for dinner. We also received a nice greeting from Bimal when we booked the room, and even his WhatsApp message was friendly and warm. We love it here!! "

"I stayed at Hotel Kunja for 5 nights. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was always great! I enjoyed each morning looking over the bustle of the main road and beautiful Lake Phewa in the distance. If you like the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. I liked the breakfast staff who were always pleasant and attentive. The front desk staff were also helpful. "Fairly quiet area. My room on the third floor was nice and drafty. It had access to the wrap around balcony and rooftop staircase access. This is a family owned hotel and they provide several things, such as laundry service, breakfast, taxi service, paragliding, bungee jumping, short and long Himalaya trekking expeditions with guides and transportation to all locations. The prices for activities are comparable to other companies in Pokhara, but it seemed much more convenient to use Cherry Garden because you’re picked up and dropped off for all activities directly to and from the hotel. This hotel is right down the street from Lake Side and has many restaurants and shops a few minutes away. I really enjoyed my guide Chitra as he’s been a trekking guide for 20 years and knows the trails and timing between each village very well!"

Lunch and Dinner were of a high quality.
Only downside (as with all properties along the lake) is that there is a fair amount of noise from singing, people, funfair etc that may delay your sleep.
Otherwise would definitely recommend staying there due to the central location and wonderful views of the lake"
