The tub drain was plugged so as we showered we had water past our ankles. There was hair in the bathroom sink. There were stains in the hallway capet, which smelled like smoke and mold. The exterior door did not actually have a lock on it, no key access needed, just open. The woman working was very professional and was the best part of the stay, she deserves to be running a higher class of hospitality provider. We will not be back.

Disgusting place. Used towles on floor in the room when we show up. Walls and ceiling falling in. Window doesnt shut or lock. Hot water is cold and takes 30 mins to warm up. There is no fan in the bathroom. Door 4 smells like a urinal. AC collects water on top puddling water bad. Didnt even have enough towles in a room for 3 people. Oranges were so old they smelled like old wine, and you are forced to eat breakfast in the dining room not allowed to go to your rooms. The pool didnt open at 8am more like 8:45 and only because it was found out someone was trying to swim like it is offered. There is black mold in the grout of the showers. The pool is falling apart and there is black mold all over the pool room from the bottom of the umbrella stands to the rinse showers. The pool shows it hasnt been clean from the grime built up on the tiles above the water surface. This place is the most disgusting hotel ive been at. Ill never do this again!!!

The water was disgusting. It’s like it’s got a lot of iron in it or something and smells AWFUL. I wouldn’t even brush my teeth with it. We stayed in the family suite in 124 and the shower head was mounted really low, so you had to take it off the mount and hold it yourself just to wash your hair and body. The shower also looked dirty but wasn’t, it was just stained from the rusty shower head. The shower also drained REALLY slow. The pool was also really run down. Breakfast wasn’t all that great, you can tell they went as cheap as possible including going so far to where they watered down the orange juice. Biscuits were moldy. I absolutely will not stay here again. Only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 was because they didn’t have bed bugs - at least not in the family suite.

A shame. Great location. The toilet and tub backed up. Front desk said if was a problem for the entire building. Maintenance tried without success to clear the line. The doors that said they needed a key to enter, but doors were open. Will say the beds were great and the room was clean.

It’s OK property for the price. The bathroom definitely could use a deep cleaning. They have lotta iron in the water they could clean the showers and shower curtains so it doesn’t look so bad. Windows are just filthy. The breakfast was nice. Staff was nice. except for the one person that decided to run a vacuum cleaner at 4 AM out in the hall.

The property should be condemned. We had cockroaches in the bathroom, four types of mold on the shower curtain, pubic hair on the bathroom floor, hair on the shower walls, grease on the hair dryer, rusty water from the shower and the pool area is not publicly suitable. The single bathroom room door doesn’t latch much less lock, the showers have no curtains the pool area was unclean with moldy food on the lounge chairs and the pool itself was in complete disrepair. The lights for the pool were rusty around the fixture. I also made a reservation for two rooms to get four beds. What a mistake. I did get two rooms but each room reservation gave me two rooms with four beds four a total of four rooms with eight beds. They would not budge on this and charged me over $600 for a two night stay for 5 people. I was ripped off and cannot believe that this Ramada with Wingate is managed so poorly. I guess I won’t be needing to use Ramada ever again. Stay away from this one.

Great Staff
Staff was awesome!! Our only issue was that the electronic lock on our room stopped working. But the staff was wonderful and came with a master key every evening when we came in. Wish the heat/ air would have had a thermostat. Hard to get the right temp in the room. Bed was comfortable. Had a couch, desk, microwave, fridge, coffee pot and more. Very nice over all. Just a bit older building.

The lobby are is nice enough but the rooms are disgusting, they smelled, bathroom looked dirty, and on one bed there was a stink bug then in the morning we saw a roach crawling up the wall of our room. The free breakfast was almost inedible, the eggs we so hard really wonder how long they had been out. The yogurt was the only good thing. I would never stay there again.

The beds were comfortable. Our bathroom sink didn’t drain. The pool was also confusing to find. Breakfast was okay.. not very warm. Very few channels on the tv came in. Some staff was friendly, others were pushy and hovered. The lady at the front desk said we could pay card or cash but was very insistent on cash (we had card and she wanted us to go get cash). The staff running breakfast literally watched us as we ate and walked around the dining room as we ate. Very strange.

Another disappointed traveler
Aren't there certain circumstances and regulations you have to meet to be considered a Wyndham? This hotel makes Wyndham's name look bad it was horrible that it smelled like water had been standing in that room for months. If you notice in the pictures attached there was wallpaper peeling off the walls with mold behind it I couldn't even take a shower because the shower was black on the bottom and I didn't have no shower shoes. I've been on the road all night driving from Louisville Kentucky to Michigan everything else was sold out that was all I could find and I trusted Expedia and hotels.com to find me a decent place to lay my head for the night but now all that didn't go so well. If you're going to be staying in this area I would advise you to stay away from this hotel.

The lady at front upon chrcin wad very stand offish. You did not need a key to get into the side entrance, very unsafe. There were some people hanging out back there that we werent even sure were staying there. The pool was dirty. the entire pool area smelled like sewer. The room was clean however the hot water geater made awful noise when you flushed toulet or took shower. We had planned on just soending all of our time at hotel but felt unsafe so only slept there. not really worth what we paid and orobably wont stay there again.

Needs renovating.
It desperately needs a renovation. My first impression was, "Is this a hotel, and if it is, is it open?" The pavement in the parking lot was broken up everywhere. The hallways, room, and bathroom seemed dirty from age. The bathroom was so small it was hard to close the door when inside. There were two bright spots. The person running the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. That room was clean, and everything seemed in its place. I left my card and phone in the room when I was leaving. I quickly found staff who politely stopped what they were doing to let me back in.

Just ok
No restaurant or bar area as previously posted on the website. The elevator was not working. The front desk clerks were pleasant. We had to walk up to the second floor, taking steps to get to our room. The carpet in the hallways had lumps in them, where it wasn’t stretched correctly, and could cause someone to fall and hurt themselves, the hotel is being renovated so maybe it will be nicer in a few months the bed sank in the middle really bad

It appears that this is a recent Ramada takeover of a previous property. Not good. New signage, but the rooms are very run-down and in below-average condition. The room next to me was literally condemned by the county health department...big red sign and all. It feels like this was a former old, rundown, budget motel of some sort that is under new management and they haven't updated it yet. I hope that's the case and they invest in upgrades. Not good. I'd not stay there again, nor would I recommend anyone I care about to stay there.

The place is a bit creepy actually. Hallways have an atmosphere sort of like “The Shining” movie. Worn down, noticed the shower curtain seemed really stained. I can categorically say I’d never stay there again. The check in was slightly bizarre as the clerk acted more like an army drill instructor than a welcoming greeter. We are on the second floor and internet doesn’t really extend upstairs. Mattress could be better too. Other than that…….

Very old hotel with no elevator working, the amenities were not up to date. Hotel needs to be renovated. Also the outside door never locks so anybody can come in

Staff very helpful Don’t like the extra $50.00 charged without any notice at time of reservation. They say after we leave they will inspect room and decide if they desire to credit your account at a later date. Consumer should be aware when making reservations

Sept. 2023: Old motel in desperate need of renovations. Bathroom shower curtain & toilet stained (maybe from minerals in water?) Floor tile dirty. Bedding was clean. Old furnishings. Breakfast was good & area clean. Would not book this hotel again until renovated. Did not meet expectations consistent with Wyndham.

This property is falling apart. The ceiling in our room had extensive water damage and what looked like mold in several spots. The hallway carpets were not flat, so posed a tripping hazard. There was a gross trash can filled with dirty water in the hallway, probably there to catch leaking water. This hotel is a disgrace.

If I could give you ZERO starts I would!
Great greeting and check in! Even let us check in early! But that's where it all ends for being great! Hotel smelled moldy/musty Not clean at all Toilet seat in the bathroom was almost completely broken off,tub filled with water past ankles while taking a shower. Couldn't use the pool,it was freezing,beyond ice cold,when telling staff was told that they keep it warm in summer cold in winter,stated they may wanna rethink that,people come in winter and want to use pool should be warm,so that was an extra cost going to YMCA to swim. No Sauna as advertised,but even so would it have worked?! The arcade that they said they had,had one arcade game,two claw games and a tiny car for a little kid to ride. Very disappointed. Most staff was not friendly,or helpful. Only thing that was remotely good was their breakfast! Everything was hot,fresh and available. I will definitely not be back.

Not happy that during check-in desk clerk did not disclose that our room did not have wifi and it was like pulling teeth to later discover that some places and rooms did have wifi. My stay required wifi at all times and this was unforgiveable. Staff apparantly did not understand the importance, and the website page for this property clearly states free wife. Also there is no restaurant or bar and the hotel is quite a way from any restaurant. I could go on but, do not stay here, unless, like us, you were desperate.

Ok for the price
Leaking water as you walked down hallway. Faucet kept leaking water. Toilet would not stop running unless you wiggled handle and the worst part is the light wouldn’t go on in the bathroom it quit working… it was late so we just did without. Breakfast was ok and staff was pleasant… looks like they are doing some updates but they hadn’t gotten to our room yet.
