Mathia (the host) was super polite and helpful throughout our stay - we checked in with ease, he provided us with lots of recommendations for the area (as well as Venice as we did a day trip there) and he was always on hand if we needed anything. "We made a very last minute booking around 6pm to stay that night. The staff were so accommodating to help us out and nothing was a problem for them. We were met at night by a member of staff and taken to the apartment which was so beautiful and very comfortable. The place was very clean. "Hotel and staff were impeccable. Perfect location to stay if you are in Verona to see the Opera in the Arena. I enjoyed the pre-Opera buffet in the American Bar- it was a light meal of appetizers including cheeses, fruit kabobs, sandwiches, crudités and small desserts including a choice of drink. Having the choice to relax with this dinner as a solo traveler saved me from trudging around town or worrying with a reservation that would allow me to make it to the opera with plenty of time to spare before the show began. My room was spotless and comfortable with very good air conditioning and a beautiful, well appointed bathroom."
