wonderful stay

we had the best stay! the amenities were amazing, there were many things to do in the community, and everyone was so kind. definitely enjoyed staying here instead of in a hotel. perfectly private for a couples getaway

Perfect Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay! We had fantastic stay at this house! It was clean, well-equipped with everything we needed and incredibly cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to local things to do in the fall. We enjoyed walks through the community, which was welcoming, and the hosts were responsive and easy to work with. This was a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend and would return!

Second time, just as great

This was the second time we stayed here and it was just a great as the first time. Clean, modern touches and great WiFi/internet. No issues doing some work away from the office, then just stepping outside to enjoy the serene quiet as you listen to the gently sounds of nature. Great place and great hosts.

Beautiful area

Overall the place was nice, a lot of deer which my wife & loved to watch, even had some come by while in the hot tub. There were some issues with plumbing, but the owners did all they could to fix, but we couldn't really use toilets or shower for last night there. They made it right for us & didn't ruin trip too much, really responsive & good to deal with

Cozy Chalet

Super cute and modern chalet in a private neighborhood. Perfect place to come back to after a day at the slopes to unwind. The hot tub was the perfect end to the day. There are 2 fire pits and a nice hammock as well as all the amenities you would need .

The property had everything that we were looking for in a rental. Communication with Adam was stellar – he answered questions quickly and provided all necessary information prior to arrival. The QR code on property was helpful. Checking in at the Locust Lake Village information center was easy.

Peaceful

The chalet was lovely, clean and everything in its place. The king and queen size rooms were on the second floor. The single room was on the first floor. The second floor has a half bath Jack and Jill type which you can enter from either of the two bedrooms which was perfect in the middle of the night. Steps could be too much for anyone who has problems with knees, etc. looking forward to visiting again. Easy communications with hosts and quick response.

Winter Wonderland Get-A-Way

My husband and I wanted to get away for a long weekend for some rest & relaxation, and saw this rental. The photos, the listed amenities and especially the hot tub prompted us to reserve this property. Upon arrival we found the house to be very clean and well organized. The guest book and the house instructions were accessed via a QR Code posted on the refrigerator with all of the information available on a downloadable pdf. The propane "fireplace" kept the house very warm and the numerous fleece blankets and throws ensured guests were comfortable and cozy. The like-new kitchen amenities included a small washer/dryer and all necessary kitchenware. The upstairs beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels. As the house is in a private community, upon arrival guests need to check in to the office and collect their parking pass, and any questions guests might have are answered by the guest book (QR Code). My husband and I were not disappointed, we had a lovely winter wonderland get-a-way. It snowed while we were there but that didn't stop us from walking to the lake and exploring the Locust Lake Village and enjoying the local restaurants. Adam and Tassia have provided a very nice house to rent for a romantic weekend or for a small family to stay at, while they ski or explore the area. We plan to return in the fall!
