"Francis, Renaldo, and little Manuel are amazing hosts at this authentic, rustic hotel. The A/C and ceiling fan were perfect! Agustina and Kiera were so accommodating in the restaurant. The fresh fish, pico de gallo, and fruit were incredible! My husband didn’t feel well while we were there and they helped immensely. These hosts now feel like family. We will be back!"

"The pool was advertised, but I was faintly hoping that it might be big enough to do laps, even short ones. It turns out that a round pool doesn't lend itself to that. On the other hand, something not mentioned in the listing is a beautiful mangrove lagoon a 3 minute walk from the house that was plenty big enough to get a good swim in. The rocks down the beach from the house were absolutely lovely, full of different kinds of creatures in unexpected spaces and even a "secret" pool that stays full of water even when the tide is out. The ocean in front of the house felt too wild for most of us to play in the waves, but that very individual.The most awesome thing about the house was the kitchen and just the space that allowed my wife and I to host her mom and some of the other members of her family. My mother-in-law is severely limited in terms of mobility and the ground floor bedroom and bathroom made it possible for her to participate.We think that there are other families with similar needs, and we would propose to Harold that he and his crew install grab bars in the bathroom, and either install a higher toilet, or perhaps have available an extension to raise the toilet. The shower also wasn't easy to access and we wonder if the edge could be reduced to make it more user-friendly. These are brainstorming ideas!We are already thinking of how to save enough to do another trip, perhaps inviting members of my family from the States."

"We stayed at this beautiful home for our large family reunion and it exceeded our expectations. Everyone had a fantastic time. We all loved the pool, playing ping pong, beach volleyball and being able to walk onto the sand and enjoy the waves. We even witnessed a sea turtle laying eggs right on the beach in front of the house. The caretakers were outstanding. Karina deserves special recognition-her cooking was absolutely delicious. She prepared a wide variety of meals, included dishes we requested that she had never made before, and they all turned out fantastic. She also managed to cook the perfect amount for our large group. One morning, her husband took us to buy fish and shrimp, fresh off the fishing boats. It’s rare to find a place that checks so many boxes. This home and the caretakers truly stand out, and we would happily return in the future."

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, cold beverages in hand, such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire experience.The home itself is absolutely stunning. Spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and filled with tasteful decor and artwork that give it an elegant, yet cozy atmosphere. Every corner of the house was thoughtfully arranged, and the master suite along with the rest of the home was the perfect retreat for me and my family.One of the highlights was the full staff included with the reservation. They took care of the cooking and cleaning, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. The pool was serviced daily, fresh towels were always available, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism.The location is excellent, close to stores in case you need anything and the beach was clean and inviting. Watching the sunset from the pool deck felt like something out of a dream. Truly magical.Special thanks to John, the owner, who was always just a text away. He was incredibly welcoming and made sure our stay was nothing short of perfect. His attention to detail and genuine care made a big difference.I’ve rented in various places all over Nicaragua, and I can confidently say: this is now my home away from home.
