We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and full of charming touches that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. One of our favorite parts of the trip was sitting on the deck each morning with a cup of coffee, taking in the peaceful lake views. The lake itself was a highlight of our stay. We brought our own paddleboards and spent a lot of time on the water. The temperature was perfect, and our family had so much fun relaxing, swimming, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.A couple of small suggestions for future guests' comfort: blackout or heavier curtains in the upstairs lakeside bedroom would be helpful, as the morning sun comes up over the lake quite early and the room gets bright around sunrise. A quick trip to CVS for a sleep mask did help, however;). Additionally, there wasn't a clear path down to the lake when we arrived, so I ended up clearing a way through some briars to make access easier.Overall, these were minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. The setting is gorgeous, the home is lovely, and we made wonderful family memories here. We would happily recommend this property to others looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway.
