"Certainly quiet. Decent on-site facilities, but if you're looking for something more exciting or close to nightlight this is not your place. If you like cooking for yourself the unit kitchens and on-site grills are more than sufficient. Kayaks, canoes, and bikes amply available for free. If you're a runner or a biker, no trails or paths accessible other than the road/highway. Pool and hot tub good with long hours. Convenient to Egg Harbor and from there up the coast to Fish Creek and further north."

"Super cute! Clean and well appointed. Location is nice and quiet yet close to town and there is a lovely gallery on the property. Host is very nice and helpful!Had to hold down the handle to flush completely, and the shower does scream like a banshee during use."

"The "white" house was spotless upon arrival, which made us feel right at home.The kitchen was very convenient and well set up. Cooking meals was easy and enjoyable. This house was perfectly situated near downtown Egg Harbor and local shops, markets, activities and entertainment. The towns in Door County are all pretty close together and everyone was helpful about recommending places to experience. There is soooo much to do in the Door County area. The host was very responsive and provided great local tips. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Door County."

"We had a one bedroom condo- kitchen area and living room area. The bathroom was small/ very tight but we made it work. The resort was great 3 pools and bikeable or walkable to town. Less than a mile in a half- great location and the amenities were great"

"There is no free breakfast included! The resort's own website does not list a breakfast included anywhere. I confirmed with them that they have not provided a free breakfast for over six years since before COVID. For some reason hotels.com continues to list this property with a "free breakfast" icon in the listing, but there is not. This obviously wasn't a deal-breaker for us but would have been nice to know going in as we would have planned differently. Otherwise, a great stay! Clean, well-maintained, nice to have amenities like free bikes to use, the pools and hot tub, and coffee station."

"The Honey Dew was great for our extended family of 8 adults and 6 children. Kim was easy to work with, and she made sure that appropriate supplies were available, and garbage was picked up when we needed. The cabin has plenty of space for outside activities, and the huge indoor space (three living rooms) and several places to lounge outside make it easy to deal with a big group. The cabin is located in the woods, well away from the main highway, so it is very quiet. Also, the log construction enables each bedroom to be sound-proofed. There are plenty of attractions for the kids nearby, and the location is convenient for quickly getting to both sides of the peninsula. Overall it is perfect for a family vacation."

"We’ve been coming to Door County every summer for the past 20 years, usually staying for a week. We have been blessed to stay at many of the nicest rental cabins on the peninsula. However, my family has voted Hidden Bear our most favorite of all time. What a fantastic place! The cabin is perfect - we loved the decor (as people of Faith, it was refreshing to be in a place where Faith is supported), the location was central to all of our favorites, and the solitude. We have a busy life and the best part of a family vacation for us is to slow down, do the centering work to realign with our values and priorities, and restore mind/body/spirit. Thank you for the honor of staying at Hidden Bear. We will be back next summer!"
