The owner Mrs Rouzes and her husband were very welcoming and on arrival the provisions in the house were welcome and generous, far better than most. The downside of my stay was the weather but it didn't impact on my stay as the house is warm and cosy."

Many places of interest (for us) such as botanic gardens and Cap Frehel are within one hour drives with car. For hiking you can start excellent walks on the sentiers des douaniers from the beach."

"The views from the house over the bay are stunning. The close access to Paimpol harbour, 15 minute walk, so convenient, no need to drive. Paimpol is a great location, harbour, good restaurants, friendly staff. A great holiday location and property if you have a dog. The beach is 5 minutes away and lifeguard present for bathing."

"Excellent renovation, modern, spacious, light, airy and very clean. The property would be ideal for families as has a large garden and lots of equipment for children. Yvias is a quiet village with a small bar from which bread and pizza can be ordered the day before. Supermarkets can be found at Paimpol which is approximately a 10 minute drive. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend to others. Herve the owner was easy to contact and very helpful."

"John and I are in our 70s and stayed at The Manoir du Roselier with our daughter and son-in-law. I can honestly say that we have stayed in many wonderful hotels over our 54 years together but this one is way beyond exceptional. The rooms had many wow factors, our bathroom and the one adapted for those with disabilities were thoughtfully designed with top quality units and facilities. The lighting everywhere was superb, modern but sympathetic to the style of the original manoir, the beds comfortable. Everywhere was scrupulously clean and designed to be able to keep it that way. Breakfast was amazing with tastes of local dishes (kouigin amann and far breton) a selection of local cheeses and a wonderful array of breads and pastries as well as fruit and yogurt. As we were only there for one Sunday night, we were unable to use the restaurant for an evening meal, but the cocktails were delightful (which we enjoyed with a game of Scrabble!) Of course the location is superb too, we had sea views which added to the joy of our stay. The staff were attentive and friendly. Thank you for such a memorable visit. We certainly want to return! "
