"Following our intense 5 day hike in the mountains My wife and I had a 1 night stay at The Knysna Belle to rest and allow our bodies to breathe and recover. Michelle was super helpful knowledgeable and wonderful and she took great care of our comfort indeed. The place is beautiful set in a tranquil environment with Knysna heads visible and Mesmerising. Everything was perfect the room the bedding the bathroom was modern too. Lastly the most amazing breakfast was served by Michelle herself adding...

"Pierre covers all the bases with their first house. Beautiful rooms with clean white linens, welcoming you as soon as you arrive,, with great advice about the area,lovely pool, bicycles to ride around the island.... And saved the best for last comment... Breakfast!!! Is incredible "

"Absolutely stellar 5 star service. Received a free room upgrade which was a beautiful family suite that was very spacious and clean. Lovely porch with chairs and a nice fire to sit by with other guests, if you choose. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. You can choose to eat at their restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had a lovely breakfast on the rooftop that had a beautiful view of the ocean. It also had a spa for massages, which we regrettably had no time for. Gorgeous...

"The place is peaceful and quiet with a serene yard/pool area. The rooms are lovely with seating area and private patio. It is about a mile outside of "town" but feels suburban. I think it's great for a couple or family with a car. As a solo traveler I didn't find it perfect as I was reliable on taxis but that is unique to my needs. The place is lovely."

"Great Welcome from well informed hosts. The property has been renovated to a high standard without loosing it's African charm. Unlike so many places in Plett. The description on the Hotels.com site is what you get. The WiFi could be quicker but if you choose a holiday in this type of location get on with it. It works. Breakfast is served outside when the weather allows which makes for a great start, is made to order and more than adequate. Parking is on site and security good ."
