"Staff polite and helpful, rooms are clean and beds comfy. But bathroom really not nice. Tiny shower with no water pressure and takes at least 5 mins running before any warm water arrives. Great location in a lovely village. A good base for the price. "

"A wonderful stay with Sue and Terry’s friendly hospitality. Lots of outdoor space (swings and games) , friendly dog and cat, quiet backwater of a lane for learning to cycle made it perfect for our 5 year old. 4 comfy beds , efficient shower, everything we needed. A note of caution: very steep stairs. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! * Owner - Lynda was wonderfully helpful, discreet, considerate.* Garden - this was our favourite aspect of the house. Well kept, diverse plants, trees, delicious plums, grassy area, various seating, and a small round pool that my daughters enjoyed circling.* Kitchen - well equipped and not over equipped, clean, attractive, with a convenient layout. * Check-in and out - all easy since Lynda was next door and was most accommodating.* Rooms - good. I particularly liked the en suite attic room because it was spacious and peaceful. No door though, so you can hear everything from downstairs. Living room comfortable, attractive, and well set out. Dining table easily big enough for six of us.* Location - we appreciated the peaceful location. There's a small lake nearby in which you can wakeboard and play on the inflatables, both good fun. At Jugon-les-Lacs, nearby, you can sail, paddleboard, and so forth. For swimming, we drove to the coast because you can't swim in the lakes.* Local people - really friendly. A lovely community."
