"My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel El Panama to celebrate our 5th anniversary. It is a beautiful, expansive property so large, in fact, that you don't see the staff roaming around very often, though the front desk was always readily available when needed. The Room & Initial Hiccups The hotel and the rooms themselves are clean and very well-maintained. However, our stay started on a frustrating note. I had specifically booked a room with a bathtub, but upon arrival, the tub was broken and missing a drain cover. Initially, we were met with nothing but excuses and apologies, with no real effort made to rectify the situation or make us feel like valued guests celebrating a milestone. Impressive Recovery The good news is that once I firmly raised my concerns, management and staff quickly turned things around. They stepped up and provided outstanding service for the remainder of our stay, even making sure we had extra complimentary coffee delivered to our room. Amenities & Dining The Pool & Spa: The sauna is a really nice added touch! The only minor downside is that finding spa staff on hand can be a bit of a challenge. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was absolutely beautiful. I was especially impressed that my husband, who is vegan, was easily able to find some great options to enjoy. The Verdict: Despite a bumpy check-in experience, Hotel El Panama recovered beautifully. It's a gorgeous property, and we ultimately had a wonderful anniversary trip We would recommend"

"Then front desk staff , the two young man working when I went was very helpful and knowledgable very professional young men.Over it’s a nice hotel to stay and the break was ok , there are other area I would suggest exploring for breakfast if it’s not included in your cost . The breakfast stafff was very professional as well."

"The hotel is well maintained and very clean, with numerous staff working laboriously. The majority of the staff members were friendly and courteous. I appreciated that housekeeping is done daily with 2 complimentary bottles of water given each time. The breakfast and dinner buffet was very good with numerous and diverse choices. The 2 ladies in the front desk were not too friendly and eager to help. The lobby is beautiful and spacious. The gym was good.I didn't like the bathroom design in the room. Only a small curtain separate it from the room, leaving no privacy when using the toilet. The glass shower door didn't close tightly giving way to a puddle of water after each shower. The towels are not of superior quality and need to be replaced. The rocks at the beach area could be removed or leveled. I scratched my right leg at the beach. There is not enough nightly entertainment for a resort - why not having a cultural show once or twice a week? Why not having a club to dance? Why not having a Happy Hour during the weekdays? I didn't have a good experience at all at Star Fish restaurant. I ordered the "Panamanian soup" (San Cocho), it was extremely salty, as with the rice that come with it. I had to return them."
