"Don't try to find the office after dark! I knocked on an apartment door on the other side of the parking lot because it was the only light on! A kind gentleman took me to the front desk! No lights or information to be found when we drove in! Our room was clean although a bit cramped. It was extremely quiet. The breakfast was excellent. There was no soap or hand towels. The shower door didn't close and the sink faucet rotated from side to side! The sign over the sink said not to drink the...

"Ok so besides the issue of no A/C which it said it had and the broken screens in the bedroom which let mosquitoes in and no tv unless you could stream from the US which still didn’t work it was a nice stay. Marianna and Hillary made our stay - best staff in the hotel for sure!!! "
Villa Mango - Private Pool - Beach - National Park
10/10 Excellent
"Where do I begin. If you want to be immersed in the Costa Rican jungle lifestyle, encounter exotic wildlife every hour, have an amazing pool to lounge in whenever you want (day or night), have a host that responds to any and everything, have not one but two kitchens to prepare food in, this is the place for you. 5 separate bedrooms, in two buildings allow for privacy when you want it. Outdoor kitchen and dining area, and a huge covered porch allowed for gathering and playing games with our group of 10. The pool is in the center of the property and was a great refreshing way to relax and take in the sights and sounds of this unreal property. Capuchin monkeys graced our presence on two of the days we were there, and a group of howler monkeys shared the trees of the property for three of the days. Yves is amazingly helpful, even arranging for a mother's day/birthday cake to be delivered to a local restaurant for our 'celebration dinner.' Any tips or ideas you are looking for he will have an answer. Many times, people in our group would look around and say "this doesn't seem real." If you want authentic Costa Rica experience and to be immersed with the wildlife, you will not be dissapointed. Yves is one of a kind, even helped our daughter navigate thru staying the night in and taking the bus from San Jose. I still can't get over the experience of watching the families of monkeys living in the trees above us. "

The shower door didn't close and the sink faucet rotated from side to side! The sign over the sink said not to drink the water....but none was provided to even brush your teeth! Luckily I had a bottle of water in the car! In my opinion, it was over priced. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. No ocean view from our room, but the pool, which we didn't use, looked beautiful. There is no beach access. Nice enough, but we won't be back!"
"What a beautiful property! There was always enough shade in and around the pools, and excellent bird watching within the hotel grounds. The location was excellent, with the beaches, national park, and town/restaurants within easy walking distance, but it was nice and peaceful at the hotel itself. Our room was nice and the shower was excellent. The only problem was the lack of soundproofing - we heard every word and footstep from the suite above. The staff were exceptional and very helpful with booking a driver to take us to Limon airport "
