I enjoyed Punta del Este more than Montevideo despite being a bit of a history guy and generally liking capital cities. Also, Jose Ignacio is a short trip up the coast and it's absolutely beautiful there."

"My husband and I wrapped up our vacation in La Barra, and Kala Hotel was absolutely perfect. It was within walking distance to the beach, offering the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious, and we were well taken care of by the pool with refreshing wine and snacks. We also took their bikes to ride to José Ignacio, though in the heat, it wasn’t the most comfortable choice. Still, a memorable trip!
