"Wonderful house right on the ocean. House has all the needed amenities, it's comfortable and functional the area the house is in is a bit out of the way but it made for a peaceful and quiet experience. The grotto and steps right into the ocean is awesome with amazing snorkeling and scuba right there"

"What an amazing historical house to stay in, over 300 years old and well maintained. It was such a throwback for me, to a house my grandparents had built in the early 20th century, the wooden roof slats with wind whistling through. As others mention, it can be quite loud but we appreciated that - even got a rain shower over night one night, and it felt like we were "glamping" in the Queen Room listening to the rain. The food in the restaurant was fantastic - no need to go anywhere else if you are tired or just arriving. We had the beef stew, fondue, salmon pasta; for breakfast you can't beat their arepa di pampuna. Highly recommend if you are looking for a romantic getaway, or for something off the beaten path."
Brand new luxurious villa with bay and mountain view

"The property is as pictured. We had a problem with the oven cutting off but other were no issues. There is only air conditioning in the rooms and it works well. There are a lot of biting insects. I do not think they treat the property. Treating it may provide some relief. Regardless, communication was great and the owner seems very nice oh, and renting a car was incredibly simplified by the host."

"The house was comfortable for our 3-generation party of 6 - grandparents in the master bedroom/bathroom on the west end and parents with children ages 6 and 3 in the queen and twin bedrooms with shared bathroom on the east end. The mattresses, bed linens, and bedroom air conditioners all felt good after winding down from the daily excursions.We ate and usually hung out on the expansive patio with its delightful view and immaculate pool, so the modest living room served well as an occasional space for an adult to read a book alone or with a child or two. We chose not to use the auxiliary one bedroom/bathroom dwelling unit.The kitchen was functional - well-supplied with the basic dishes, etc. and a selection of spices - though we couldn't get a couple of the gas stove-top burners to work and found that milk and raw chicken spoiled in the refrigerator after a few days.The wind and sea calmed down enough one afternoon and the following evening for the two moderately strong swimmers of our group to snorkel from the ladder out back to see coral and fish on a grander scale than found at our favorite beaches - Lagun, Jeremi, and Knip. The drive to those beaches and anywhere else was a hassle because the only route was through the new large resort under construction. This construction also has closed the beach we were counting on for a daily 16-minute walk and stay of an hour or two most days, as suggested in the property description-a "deal-breaker" if only we had known."

"Out of all places I've stayed, by far this was the best experience I had. I felt welcomed and like home. The hostbis amazing, the place is very clean and kitchen fully stocked, we had breakfast with a wonderful ocean view and very closed to the best beach is Curaçao (Cas Abao Beach). The host took me diving to local only spots which was amazing. He is very easy and attentive to details. I strongly recommend anyone to go to visot the island, to stay here, you can thank me later. The private community is very safe, if you are a diver, there isbplenty of space to rinse and dry your gear and also tou can get great tips from the host on diving spots and any nees in the island. My wife and I felt so good, we are already planning to go back next year and stay here."

"I had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The property is located in a secure neighborhood that feels very safe and peaceful, especially at night. It’s only a short drive to Cas Abao Beach, and there are also two smaller private beaches nearby that were perfect for relaxing away from the crowds.The views of the coast were absolutely wonderful, and the accessible infinity pool was a highlight of our stay. Having available parking spots made everything even more convenient. Overall, this place offers fantastic value for money, and we would definitely stay here again!"
Villa Caruso With Private Pool and Spectaculair sea View 2 Minutes From Beach

"A great villa, at a fair price. Firstly, I would stay in this villa again in a heart beat. Clean, private, lots of space, lots of towels, great kitchen, etc. If you want a property near to the capital, this is not it. It's a 30 minute drive. There is nothing in walking distance from the Villa - you really have to drive. 5 mins to the local beach, Cas Abao, which is great (but not my favourite) - that would be Porto-Marie (15 mins away) . The Villa gets hot, but it's Curacao! There is great air conditioning in most rooms, and the air conditioning in the main living area is fine. If you want to be cold, please come and help the UKs tourist industry. The villa is not perfect (as in maintained daily like a 6 star hotel), but it is to a high standard. The pool is a fair size. THE VIEW is brilliant. Great to wake up to. Wonderful to take in if you're having to do some work. Lovely to enjoy from the pool or in the evening. Good for the Soul. I would like to put people off from using this villa, so it's available for me next time I visit - but that would not be fair. If the location is ok for you (and there are some great restaurants near by - search up Daniels and Marfa's - and beaches - book this one. "
