"The staff, especially Jefferson, was very attentive and friendly. We loved the ambiance of the hotel, everything from the ocean view with swim-up bar to the native landscape with the abundance of wildlife. I love that we had Capuchin monkeys visit our balcony daily and lizards that were waiting outside the restaurant every morning for breakfast. The restaurant, Two Parrots, had a great wait staff and a phenomenal chef. I highly recommend the Watermelon Twist as my choice of libation! I also scheduled an in-room 90 minute massage during my stay, and the therapist, Elyse, was unbelievable. The only reason I did not give the hotel a 5-star is that the website led us to believe that the hotel was situated directly on the ocean, however, there is a busy 2-lane highway separating the hotel from the beach. Nevertheless, there are multiple, clean beautiful beaches within a few minutes drive of the hotel. We also appreciated that Town Plaza was only a few miles drive with multiple shopping venues, a grocery store, and several restaurants, I highly recommend grabbing a latte, cinnamon roll and sourdough bread loaf from the Valhalla Danish Bakery. Ask for Melisa, she speaks English and provided us phenomenal service and conversation. Enjoy your time exploring and Pura Vida!"

Every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Concierge Michael was outstanding—always available, incredibly knowledgeable, and made planning excursions and activities effortless. "We spent 10 days at this great house. My family included my 82 year old mother who wanted to stay forever! Emily was a great host. Very responsive when we had questions. We were delayed on our arrival due to traffic but there was no problem with Liliam (the house caretaker) meeting us late. Liliam was super friendly and even made us fresh juice and brought over coffee. The house was perfect for our family. The beautiful beach was close and the little town nearby was charming. The location was perfect to go north to Jaco or south to Manuel Antonio National Park. Lots of other stuff to do nearby as well! Emily also recommended masseuses that came to the house! We greatly enjoyed our trip and the house was a big part of our enjoyment."

"Overall this was a great house with location being the best part. It’s in a gated community and the homes are spread out so you’re in your own tropical oasis. We saw a family of white faced monkeys and there were 2 iguanas that hung out by the pool. The management company was very responsive when we had issues. But the house is in need of some TLC. Kitchen cabinet doors are pretty beat up. The coffee maker doesn’t work well. The interior doors have keyed locks with no keys. We got locked out of a bathroom and had to wait for someone to come pry it open. Also the jacuzzi in the main bedroom was out of order with a laminated sign above it so I imagine it’s been like that for awhile. One other issue is that it’s listed as 4 bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is a TV/sitting room with a pull out sofa. Also the bed in the main room is pretty hard and there weren’t extra blankets other than the bedcover. I would still recommend the house due to the location and management company."

"House was clean and comfortable, pool was very nice. We went during the dry season so I assume grounds were not as lush as in pictures. We arrived later in the day then originally planned (after 7pm) and because all of the AC was off it was over 90F inside the house and took some time to get it comfortable. The house had plenty of space for our family of 5 and is in a good location between Jaco (close to) and Quepos. There are a handful of shops just down the main road to Quepos with a Danish Bakery (Valhalla) that was excellent!"
