Beach Hotels & Resorts in Playa de Santiago from NZ$98

"La Gaviota was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and very convenient for the beach, town and transport. In a 4-day stay, I never saw a member of staff after I was given my keys. On my first night, guests returning in the early hours were very noisy, and this went on for a long time. Also, someone tried my door - though probably a mistake. This becomes a problem when there's no owner/reception on-site presence. In future, as a solo traveller, I'd be happy to pay a few euros more for better...

"Pros: The house is wonderful, very clean, renewed and with all the facilities required to have a very nice time. We spent 1 week and the pool is joined with the rest of properties, but we were almost everyday alone on it. The check-in is very easy, you receives the keys and that is all. Emilio is very friendly and he called us 2 times on that week to know if everything were ok. Definitely, highly recommended. Cons: We have nothing bad to tell."

"The property is secluded from all the small towns in the island but offers silence peace and comfort in the zone that it is located. The space was perfect for a family vacation of 5 people. I would recommend this property if staying in La Gomera for longer than 2 nights to make it worth your while. "
